“Once upon a time…” 📚
A few months back I built a few habitats for a @kentdistrictlibrary event and realized I never shared them. In this final habitat I tried to capture that feeling of starting a new book. The reader is shown reading her book stretched out on a picnic blanket while the book she’s reading is enlarged above and creates the walls of the habitat. To create the illusion of the book floating above her I used clear bricks. 📖

Who else is currently obsessed with this series?
I just finished the first book after handfuls of people recommended it and damnit, @mattdinniman I am hooked. Of course the entire time I was reading I just kept building the minifigure version of Carl and Princess Donut in my head so I finally sat down and pulled it all together.
Even if you aren’t a big reader I highly recommend this series because the chapters are fast and the premise is so out there and unexpected that you just can’t stop reading to find out what happens next. That said, be advised that this is wildly inappropriate for children and is chuck full of dark humor that toes/outright cannonballs past the line of what some might find offensive.
