Dubbed the “queer feminist love child of Nicolas Refn and Quentin Tarantino,” MOMSTER premiered in Competition at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2019- and now The Tribeca Channel is releasing the film on their DTV program! Tune in to enjoy fabulous performances by Brianna Hildebrand, Ryan Simpkins, Josh Fadem, John Ennis and THE Amanda Plummer as the titular mom who also happens to be a notorious bank robber on the run. You’ll see why journalists called this “neo-noir gangster picture” “glorious! Absolutely entertaining!” Featuring stunning cinematography by Ava Berkofsky, ingenious costumes by Emily Ting (including a bespoke bank robbing jacket with 20 understated interior pockets for storing stolen cash), inimitable production design by Ashley Fenton (she turned a stripper pole into a cactus!), neon hot lewks by Donni Davis and Kirin Rider, rebellious score by Aska Matsumiya and original songs by HIPS.
