JERROFYX x PRSMCAT PRESENTS: 🌎 ALL IN 4 🌎 This Saturday (6/14) we’re back with the 4th edition of ALL IN, a massive day-long art and music show at The Workshop. This year will be the 4th edition of the show and it’s the biggest yet sponsored by @rvamag , @bingobeerco , @broadstreetbullies804 , featuring over 30 visual artists and 15 musical acts from across the city. We’ve got music from @shormey_ @hernbean5150 @bedspreadradio @cjtheprofit @judiawilo @hookshotrecords @vinny.giovanni @tommy2600_ @sneezerva and more. There will be immersive installations from some of the most exciting visual creators in Richmond. Drinks and food will be provided all day by the great @truxdeluxe and @1115mobilekitchen ALL IN started from humble roots as a small apartment art party and has grown into a full-on mini-festival built by artists for local art to have a spotlight and for people to connect through music and art. This is the 2nd year PRSMCAT has been asked to collaborate and I’ve been honored to work alongside @jerrofyx and such an amazing team of people making this happen @veri_rare @iimeaniiguess ! I know that right now, protests are happening across the country. People are being disappeared. Voices are being silenced. Artists, students, and organizers are being arrested and censored for exercising their basic right to speak. In moments like this, supporting artists who use their medium to tell the truth becomes essential. So go out and protest and also show up for artists. Support them so they can keep building community and bringing self expression, truths, and beauty into a world that needs it now more than ever. Officially announcing that I will not be hosting Daydream Fest 2024 this year but the show will still go on! It took a lot of thought to come to this decision but the reality is that I’m working on multiple other passion projects at this time and can’t put my 100% into this festival this year which all the artists participating deserve. I want to thank everyone over the last two years for believing in our festival and coming out to show their support for something that just started out as an inkling of an idea between Pete and I. Through this festival we got to connect various musicians, artists, photographers, craft makers, non-profits, journalists, fans, etc… across Richmond in a beautiful collaborative setting and hundreds of y’all came out and supported. It’s been truly one of the most special things I’ve ever been a part of. I did get to see a sneak peak of the artists performing for the 2024 lineup and do know this year will another amazing fest so make sure to follow @daydreamfest_rva and get your early bird tickets and go support Richmond music & crafts! Japan Pt.1 🇯🇵 There were so many wonderful moments from this trip which were photographed but it took me forever to go through them since being back home. Here are a few favorites taken with the Sony A7s w/ film lens. On this trip I was grateful to reconnect with my Japanese side of my family and culture on this inspiring trip to Japan. It’s been over a decade since I’ve been back to my birthplace and being back to Japan as an adult was not only inspiring but I think healing to re-discover an entire half of myself. Growing up in the states, I tried my best to blend in by casting away my “asian-ness” via code-switching on a daily basis through being hapa. As an adult, I’m excited to honor being Japanese as a pivotal part of my identity and take inspiration from my heritage for how I navigate life and future projects! ありがと 🖤

Happy belated birthday to my dad! One of the greatest to ever do it 🖤 Fun fact: He used to be in a band with one of the members of Parliament Funkadelic! Feel like I’ve heard a lot of dads passing away this year and my heart goes out to all of y’all. It’s been 8 years for me now and I promise time does heal even though you’ll always miss them. Kind of wild but I had a series of really intense dreams after my dad died that I’ll share. 3 to be exact. 2 were exactly like how Tibetan Buddhists described the Bardo state. In those dreams I saw my dad and was so surprised to see him because I knew he was dead. He was so confused, lost, and kept trying to speak to me but couldn’t. I felt worried like he was trapped when I woke up. This exact same thing happened in a second dream a few days later in another setting. The 3rd dream which happened another couple of days after was completely different. He appeared at my childhood home on the front porch not as his human self but as a gigantic half owl / half human spirit (like an Egyptian god depiction with an owl body and his face on the owl). He was huge, about 12ft tall owl with his face morphed into the owls head. In the dream he had to speak down to me or was more so telepathically communicating down to me because he had become or somehow paired with some all knowing god like entity whose knowledge and understanding of things was beyond my human comprehension. Whatever the entity was though, it/he radiated immense understanding, knowledge, and care. He told me “Richard” had moved on and he wanted me to know that I didn’t have to worry and things would be alright. Take that as you will.

178 years ago I started embarking on a fantastical smelly journey during the great plague of our time. Now after countless tests 🧪 and trials 👨‍⚖️, spills 💦 and burns 🔥, I’m ready to announce my candles are finally ready for public consumption. Proudly introducing @zavismells premium small batch luxury candles handmade and inspired by the greatest city in the world Richmond, Virginia and all my friends in it 💪 I’m incredibly excited to share this project that I’ve been working on for well over 2 years now.
