Hi everyone! Exciting news.
Patrick and I have been doing pop-ups together for almost two years which is so hard to believe that much time has passed. I just sorta came on to do FOH and social media stuff but as time went on we realized that collaboration was our strong suit. Patrick has put so much trust in me that it made me feel confident enough to even start cooking and letting people taste my food. I am so grateful for our friendship, our working dynamic and how much we both love food. When talking about the future, we both envision something small, sweet, and genuine. A space for people to gather, to eat food that is nourishing and FUN. We’re obv always trying to find ways so that y’all can eat with your hands.
Previously known as, “LOBO” (and plasticities lol)… we would like to introduce ourselves as “Lupine”. Our food is thoughtful, collaborative and hopefully delicious. Lupine love full sun (just like us! We’re California gals anyway) and is also a nice way to bridge the old name with the new.
A very special, special shout out to @jillian.barthold . She has been so supportive since the beginning and her art makes it feel so much more real. We love you appreciate you so very much, thank you forever.
We’ve got a lot of fun stuff on deck the next couple months so follow along. We’ll see you soon. ❤️

About three years ago I had a friend ask me if I could take photographs of their band. I was really excited— I was gonna try do double exposures of film with nature and the band, it was all so very 2009 of me. It didn’t end up happening, but I did shoot the first round of film. It was about this time of year— spring time. Dogwood were blooming, it was a little grey out, my best friends were moving out of town so have a couple of photos of them on film as well.
I recently developed that roll of film. What if we met three years ago when I was taking photographs of the band? Would we have been interested in each other? I’m actually so shy and so is he so lol, probably not. We all know Portland is small but I like to think that Jay was just a friend away and somehow, we’d find a way to be in each others’ orbit.
Sometimes I get these urges to share a LOT but in reality, I feel like I mostly keep it surface level for fear of taking up too much space.
I feel so supported and encouraged and indulged and cared for. I’m reminded that my feelings are not too big, and that I’m not too sensitive. That I feel these things because I’m passionate! I’m not gonna lie, it’s really fucking cool.
my light meter was broken but these are some that worked out. A little wobbly here and there but I do miss shooting with film. I think I wanna try and pick it up again? Or get a dog? You tell me.

If I’m being completely honest 2025 was a really, really good year for me. I know that that is a totally privileged thing to say and I acknowledge it. Some of the stuff I went through was hard. It hurt. But I think I loved more and expressed it freely, and often.
I always am the person taking photos. I am in the moment, but I also want to remember it years down the line. I just want my little tiny corner of the internet to be filled with joy today. Looking back, all of these people made me smile, laugh, and even cry. I love you I love you I love you

I’m actually so grateful for this year.
It was the year I saw my brother get married, the year my niece graduated high school, the year my family came to visit me, the year I got to spend time with my cousins.
I started this year feeling so lonely. Over the course of time I have grown to like doing some things alone. I value my independence for sure, but it’s so much better when you have people in your corner. I’m lucky that I’ve always had some really wonderful friends in my life— but to be able to get close with my family and spend ample time with them is priceless. The people in my life are so sweet, and I am just so appreciative.
Thanks for following along everyone, my corner of the internet is small but I love sharing it with you.

The theme of this year and every year is sharing all my meals with my favorite people. Nothing makes me happier than cooking for the people I love! Or showing them my favorite restaurants back home! Or splitting two sandwiches so we both have two sandwiches! Or giving my friend the last fry! I love sharing with all of you, too!
Can’t wait to share a meal with you in 2026.

this video makes me so so so happy.
My family came out to see me and I loved being able to show them where has been my home for the last 7 years. We ate a ton of food, explored, and most of all got to spend time together. Thanks for coming @liztdo and @deeelaaan ! Can’t wait for the whole family to be here.
