We've got a nice and light tuna special this week.
Tuna salad with burned green garlic Kewpie mayo, herbs, chopped endives, some nice Comte cheese, and fried shallots on our torpedo rolls.
Did something low-key and simple for this rain filled Mother's Day week.
Got some eggplant caponata, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, garlic mayo. Can add fried eggplant for additional charge or sub out prosciutto for fried eggplant to make it vegetarian.

Okay, know we're late posting this. Here's the deal with this week's special.
Whenever someone leaves Ideal's after they've been with us for over a year, we always let them pick the special for the week. In the coming days Chad will be leaving us onto bigger and better things. Chad, being from New Orleans, requested a French Fry Po Boy as his special. Now for those of you who don't know what a French Fry Po Boy is, it's the original Po Boy and it's literally mayo, French fries, and gravy, sometimes cheese, lettuce, tomato.
Part of me truly believes Chad picked this partly because he knows how much of this sandwich goes against my entire being as a cook, but nevertheless, he's happy with it and so that means I'm happy.
Anyway, here's our French Fry Po Boy, not much to look at but definitely has some nice flavors.
Minnie hoagie bun, garlic mayo, French fries, beef "debris" gravy, provolone, lettuce.

Roast beef, garlic mayo, fried onion and jalapeno hash, provolone, mozz, all melted and thrown on a hoagie bun and topped with some salsa Verde.

Jammy egg salad, Jambon de Paris, marinated shallots, all stuffed on our panuozzo bread. Get it without the ham to make it vegetarian!

Bringing back a special we haven't done in years that people still ask for. What we affectionately named the Subway sandwich but I still like to call the Pompey, or more recently the Coppa Cabana

Day late posting this week, but here it is.
Was feeling the St.Patty's spirit and wanted to test some things out for our soon to come breakfast menu so we've got our English muffin with some roasted tomato mayo, homemade fried hash browns, Irish bacon dusted with some brown sugar, cabbage slaw, and a fried egg.
