Last week’s luncheon at @cornwell_manor tucked away in The Cotswolds with @nyetimber felt like stepping into an English summer daydream. Guests travelled down from London by train - a wonderful mix of industry creatives gathering together in the countryside for a slow, joyful afternoon celebrating Nyetimber’s limited edition English Summer Rosé. The breathtaking ballroom at Cornwell Manor looked utterly dreamy, dressed in layers of blush pinks, creamy whites, soft blush pinks and delicate spring greens. Gorgeously feminine table linens flowed the length of the table, overflowing with romantic florals that felt loose, abundant and full of summer softness. You could hear the constant chinking of glasses, bubbles being poured, candlelight flickering softly and the sound of happy chatter and laughter filling the room all afternoon long. Guests enjoyed a delicious five-course lunch paired with five different Nyetimbers across the day, each one bringing its own moment of celebration and sparkle. From delicate floral notes to the prettiest raspberry and vanilla mille-feuille served at the end of lunch, every detail felt thoughtful, elegant and full of joy. It was one of those rare afternoons where time seemed to slow down a little - creatives connecting, stories being shared and everyone simply enjoying being together in such a beautiful setting. And of course, none of it would have been possible without the most incredible team of creatives behind it all, who brought so much beauty, warmth and magic to the day. SEASALT & BUTTER Devon’s LIFE story began overlooking the ocean in Maine - windswept coastlines, candlelight, salt air, layered textures, handwritten notes, menus, memories, movement. Tomorrow I’m heading up to the Cotswolds - one of may favourite parts of the country, to @cornwell_manor for a very special luncheon with @nyetimber and I’m so excited as it really is one of those places that completely steals your heart the second you arrive. What I love so much about Cornwell Manor is that weddings there never feel like just one day because they rarely are. Couples really get to create an entire experience for their loved ones over several days - everyone staying together, long lunches in the gardens, drinks that turn into dinner, dinner that turns into dancing…pool parties…it all feels beautifully relaxed and effortless from beginning to end. And you really don’t want it to ever end… The house itself is unbelievably beautiful. Quintessentially English in every possible way - ivy-covered stone walls, the dreamiest gardens, breathtaking views across the estate and little hidden corners everywhere you look. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and properly soak it all in. Katie & Tom’s wedding there last summer was such a joy to photograph. Their wedding weekend began with the loveliest alfresco dinner in the gardens - long tables, candlelight, amazing food, loads of laughter and that gorgeous feeling of everyone just being fully present together before the wedding day. And then came the sausages 😂 If you know, you know… apparently burying sausages the night before the wedding keeps the rain away. Did we all laugh while doing it? Yes. There’s a magical moment before everything begins. @charstarr99 mid-descent, veil floating softly behind her…her dress waiting just above… everything quietly holding its breath before the day unfolds. This is why LIFE exists. Because what you’re seeing here is beautiful…
But what you’re not seeing? That’s where the real story lives. Charlotte’s dress wasn’t just something she wore. It was something she created… piece by piece, meaning by meaning with the incredibly talented @emmavictoriapaynebridal And the story?… She and @mjscholes discovered that their families were unknowingly connected over a century ago - her great-grandfather leaving Lisburn (just outside Michael’s hometown of Belfast) to start a new life in America. A connection that makes their story feel all the more fated. Their wedding wasn’t about adding details for the sake of it… It was about honouring where they came from. Her dress became a place to hold all of that. A tiny embroidered church - the very place they would say their vows. Swans stitched into the design, a nod to Michael’s family heritage.
A hidden dachshund motif, so her beloved dog could be there in spirit.
Elements inspired by her late grandmother’s wedding dress…dogwood flowers, referencing her childhood home in Virginia…
Their bespoke monogram woven into her veil. Every detail intentional. LIFE holds why it mattered. This is where those layers come alive. The sketches.

They chose a soft green linen cover, de-bossed in gold to perfectly match their invitation. We created a repeat pattern of their delicate floral monogram for their endpapers, and sprinkled through their perfectly curated selection of photos all their other magical details - from design sketches, to speeches, music, cake flavours to transform it into a sensory time-capsule that will now transport them back into their wedding day every time they open it. @drog4 ‘s LIFE journey is one I’ll always remember with huge fondness. From the very beginning, I knew hers and Alex’s wedding wasn’t about formality or doing things “properly.” It was about them. An intimate celebration by the ocean in Maine. No seating plan. No big production. Just people they love, all in one place. Sunset tones of pink, orange and yellow. Lobster rolls, pasta, wine flowing. A saxophone as the sun dipped. Their dog Bandit weaving through it all. And a lobster fisherman calling out, “OMG they’re getting married!” And I remember thinking… please don’t let this just live on a phone. Because it’s never just the photos, is it? It’s the handwritten vows. The songs. The in-between moments. The feeling of it all. Every page of Devon’s LIFE book was intentional. Every spread considered. We don’t miss a thing. Not just to create something beautiful - but something you reach for and hold, and truly feel every moment. When it was signed off… “Your attention to detail is so gorgeous and thoughtful… I absolutely love everything!” And then the best part - it arrived. “My LIFE Masterpiece is HOME… I’m cherishing every page! I almost wish the process wasn’t even over!” LIFE isn’t just a book. It’s a journey. One that lets you slow down, pour a glass of wine, sit on your sofa…and feel your story all over again. There are some weddings that stay with you… and @madisondavies25 & @jimdavies celebration @chateaudefontareches in Uzès last summer is definitely one of them. The soft morning light pouring through the French shutter windows, the quiet elegance of Madi getting ready, pearls and silk…the beautiful, sun-soaked courtyard ceremony surrounded by stone and pink dahlias…and then… the magic of the evening, long tables, laughter, candlelight, the warm French evening air and dancing late into the night. Every moment felt intentional. Effortless. Full of heart. And so much joy! And now… their copy of LIFE is almost ready to be sent to print. 
Honestly, this for us, is the mos special part of the journey we take you on. Taking all of these fleeting moments, the in-between glances, the textures, the atmosphere, all the details and emotions and turning them into something you can hold, revisit, pass on… this is why we do what we do.
