‘Bound Together no.4’ acrylic on celastic, 70x70cm 2026 Absolutely thrilled to show this new wall sculpture in conjunction with my print ‘Bound Together’ in @binderofwomen_ show ‘Between Us’ at @sohorevue @revuestudios_soho This current series of work explores the idea that we are bound to each other, and to the earth. Making sculpture, working in landscape and also on paper is the most expanded my practise has even been - while also not having a studio but living on the road, it’s a welcomed challenge that’s forcing me to think anew. The gallery currently represents solely female artists and of the total artists showcased in exhibitions, 80% are women, bucking industry wide trends. @binderofwomen_ are proud to be among those above.

We did it! Let’s hear it for the artists who choose to champion and collaborate with one another! The twelve artists in the exhibition were selected through a chain of artistic invitation where each female artist extends the project by inviting another, forming new bonds and strengthening existing ones. In the spirit of collaboration, the resulting groups have worked alongside @sohorevue print studio technician @james_randell_ to produce a brand new edition. These 12 prints (each an edition of 10) are now on show at @sohorevue alongside a selection of unique artworks by the participating artists who work with a range of media including painting, sculpture, textile and drawing. I understand why in 1836 #thomascole moved to the Catskill mountains, his love of the natural world spills out of every painting. I think visiting @thomascolesite was a very apt first art visit to set the tone for the rest of our journey across the Americas. Thinking about how Cole moved through this landscape made the cold drive north feel less like travel and more meditative somehow, until the dogs ate all the kids Easter eggs and were sick everywhere. Thank goodness for friends, old and new… who have made this week so memorable. If you’re near Hudson you MUST visit @dovesdiner And my head is swimming with thoughts after seeing @jeffrune incredible show at @massmoca …POWER FULL BECAUSE WE’RE DIFFERENT - another very apt show to see ahead of travelling around for the next 2 years with our two kids & two dogs. @packlightlyandgo

Only a handful of days on the road… left our pals @clemmiedeblank & @christopherchezchappell in NJ and have begun the slow, winding drift through the Catskills towards @mamafrancesca in VT - trying not to drive more than a couple of hours a day. The cold is sharper than we expected but the landscape even more beautiful, tomorrow to the artist Thomas Cole’s house/museum - which some say is the birthplace of modern America landscape art. Countless games of Monopoly deal c/o @isabellarogge and the roadside diners delivering every dish we’ve looked forward to - only until we get back into the swing of van living/cooking. Always looking for free camp spots so we have more 💵 to spend on stickers! @packlightlyandgo
