When things grow and get more popular (in any category) there is always an inherent urge to be protective of how it was “before”. While some things definitely lacked depth or looked like brands are trying to just buy their way in, I can still appreciate that there was a lot of newness, inspiration and even joy. And selfishly, people coming to Milan and see how culturally dynamic it is, is great for me. 😄 CONGRATS to all my friends who did cool shit this design week 🫂🫂🫂 I wish I could have seen allll of it. 🫶✨#milandesignweek
If someone told me we would launch @cromotea on top of Torre Velasca, I wouldn’t have believed you. We worked with our friend and talented designer @bogdan.1 to create a Vietnamese inspired teahouse, and placed it on the top floor of one of Milan’s most iconic buildings for 3 days. Our installation offered a tea ceremony and a mini matcha bar where we invited the creative community and beyond to come and try our new teas. In contrast to the always busy Salone, our Secret Teahouse offered a small moment of refuge and the BEST view of any Milan Design Week event. Thank you to all who helped make this happen. 🍵🫖🫶
