For a special feature of @drepubblicait dedicated to cultural hubs in Trentino, I captured what happens behind the glass walls of the BUC, the Central University Library. Thanks to @efarneti for the assignment and to @visittrentino for the coordination. Thanks to Trentino region for so often being a source of stories and in-depth insights.

For the April issue of @livingcorriere , I produced the images that make up the portfolio dedicated to l’Aquila, Capital of Culture 2026. An exploration off historic buildings, noble residences, oratories, courtyards and monumental spaces of the wounded city. Sealed by the 2009 earthquake, inaccessible or simply forgotten by the general public, those hidden spaces have become a collective narrative that invites us to rediscover beauty as a driving force for renewal. For this week’s issue of @sportweek_ Tucked away beyond dozens of winding bends in the Liguria’s rugged inland, the family house of the young @finnlorenzo , considered by many to be the future of Italian cycling, offers its own perspective on Lorenzo’s past. In the April issue of @cntravelleritalia there’s a story of travel and hope, rebirth, granite, clouds, and sacredness. A couple of my photos illustrate the journey from Fabriano to L’Aquila, Italy’s 2026 Capital of Culture. From the queue for the ascent to the Gran Sasso summit, to the contemplation of the sacrality of Santa Maria di Collemaggio. Words: @raffaelepanizza Edit: @roberta.levi
