A Moment of Absence captures a fragment of life that is usually overlooked.The collage of about twentyfive emerging and established designers forms the landscape of this environment. Coming from different backgrounds and stages in their practice, their works reflect a wide range of approaches. With „A Moment of Absence“ we want you to invade a space that was left as it was. Step inside and witness a quiet disturbance, a space that feels briefly left to itself yet still alive with intention. In times of perfect images we invite you to wander through a room shaped by everyday traces where order and disorder lean gently against each other. Here design is not displayed but lived, carrying small signs of movement and pause. Let the objects speak as if their owner has just stepped out for a moment. @maaatzee is a spatial designer based in Leipzig with a background in architecture. His daily practice focuses on the intersection of spaces and objects. In late 2024, this led to ‚TERCET‘, a project centred on functional objects developed from an architectural way of thinking. Reduced, clear forms and a material-driven approach define his work, with aluminium playing an essential role. — @maaatzee ist Spatial Designer aus Leipzig mit einem Hintergrund in der Architektur. In seiner täglichen Arbeit beschäftigt er sich mit der Schnittstelle von Räumen und Objekten. Ende 2024 entstand daraus ‚TERCET‘, ein Projekt mit Fokus auf funktionale Objekte, die aus einem architektonischen Denken heraus entwickelt werden. Reduzierte, klare Formen und eine materialgetriebene Gestaltung prägen seine Arbeit, wobei Aluminium eine essenzielle Rolle spielt.
