This was an emotional one for me. Years back i watched @yann_brenyak create this scarification I covered. An artist who challenged everything i thought was conventional had the biggest heart and inspired me in ways i still feel today.
Yann leaving this world hit different. I always had the feeling we need people like him here.
When P asked me to cover it i was honestly emotional at first. But at the end of the day who am i to even appraise people’s decisions about their bodies. If it was gonna happen anyway i felt honored to be the one doing it. Someone who could approach this piece with the reverence it deserved.
I’m so grateful i got to know him. We only met two times and didnt know each other long or super well but the time i got to spend with him and the small messages of support early in my career pushed me forward in ways that still echo today.
Hope you’re doing good Yann wherever you are. Maybe see you again someday. ❤️🖕🏽

HEALED TATTOO PROJECT
I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, but I always felt a bit ashamed. Thats why i recorded this in my little safe space. And sorry for the cuts there were way too many ehms. 🖤
I want to create a healed tattoo book with photos of my work.
We’ll do healed photo sessions at OFF Studio in Leipzig and Münster – solo portraits and big group shots – and you’ll get the photos for yourself too.
At the end of the year I’ll also raffle a full day session among everyone who joins.
