Introducing the creatives behind ‘Step By Step’
@peta_sb - Director of @heydowling & Creator of @dance.a.long
Peta is a renowned producer working across comedy, cabaret, theatre & music. Shows she’s produced have sold out, won awards and toured the world over the past decade.
Peta started dancing at two years old and was a national champion ballroom dancer at 11. She’s dabbled in contemporary, commercial, aerobics, hip hop, pole, burlesque, street latin and more. She was a semi-finalist on ‘Strictly Dancing’ S1, but her favourite dance memories were learning Janet Jackson routines taped off Video Hits.
She’s the co-creator of @smashedshow , Step By Step is Peta’s debut as lead creative.

3. @houseofbigd killed it in OZ with Butt Kapinski - i think this was my first comedy award win (?!)
4. @sunsetsillive and I love our jobs, really. Miss having you in Oz with meeeee
5. @barnie_juancan & I did the most bonkers tour: Helsinki -> Busan. What a trip!
6. @damiancallinan got to dance every show in Swing Man! Such a joy 💗

Gosh I love @edfringe aka the Arts Olympics. Warm dark rooms, hearts on display in a kaleidoscope of colours, shapes, sounds and moods. Cries in the meadows, hugs with friends, constant stairs, always putting on or pulling off a layer of clothing. Lots of laughs, introspection, extrospection, and just the best humans on the planet gathered together in a “woke hellscape” (The Telegraph) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
