For our 2026 season, Adelaide Fringe distributed 252 grants supporting artists and venues to bring their work to life, but unfortunately there were 366 passionate, deserving applicants who missed out. Participation in Adelaide Fringe isn't free, and for many artists and venues, putting on a show requires significant upfront investment and risk before a single ticket is sold. If artists can’t afford to perform, we don’t have Fringe as we know it. With our next grant round fast approaching, your donation can help cover the real costs of getting work on stage: 💜 $70 helps an artist gets the word out with flyers and posters 💜 $250 boosts digital marketing to build ticket sales 💜 $500 contributes to paying an artist’s wage 💜 $1,100 helps put a show on stage with venue hire We need your help to fund the shows, stories, and opportunities for artists to be part of Fringe. Back the people who make it happen, and fuel Fringe magic this EOFY💛

In 2026 we teamed up with @wait.mate to try something new. Scroll Less, Fringe More encouraged families to swap smartphones for stages, making real Fringe memories together – and the result was something pretty special 💖 Take a look at what happened 👀

Loved attending Fringe this year? You can help someone else experience the magic!✨ Every year through your support, Adelaide Fringe Foundation buys tickets for communities who’d otherwise miss out on attending Fringe. 65% of community groups supported in 2026 said they wouldn’t have been able to attend Fringe without the complimentary tickets they received. Need another reason to give? @nrmainsurance will double your impact when you pay it forward*. Meaning your donation can help even more people.🤩 *NRMA Insurance will match Pay it Forward donations up to a total of $50,000

🐾 On Guide Dogs Day, we’re celebrating Australia’s hardest-working puppy eyes🐶 During this year’s Fringe, there were more than 20 sessions attended by audience members accompanied by @guidedogsaustralia . We loved seeing people experience the festival alongside their assistance dogs and having an amazing time together. 🎪💛 At Fringe and beyond, if you spot a working dog out and about, here are a few friendly tips to keep in mind: - Please don’t distract or pat a working guide or assistance dog - Always speak to the handler, not the dog - Under Australian law, they’re allowed anywhere the public can go, including public transport, shops and workplaces - And yes… their favourite treats are carrots 🥕 Thanks for helping make Fringe (and beyond) a more accessible and welcoming space for everyone. 💛
