A fever dream? An acid flashback? Or a vision of what can be created by an outrageously talented crew of Australia-meets-Aotearoa cabaret-carnie-circus-muso-silly-draggy chaos-makers?! Every time we add new faces to the @smashedshow family it reminds me just how powerful this artform can be as a vehicle for rebellion, representation and unadulterated joy. And it’s not every season that you get to be the first company on earth to christen a brand new Spiegeltent! The first layer of glitter and filth has been laid… 🎪 The biggest love to the @aucklandartsfestival for being the most generous hosts and art facilitators - a treat to be your resident show at this wonderful festival.
