About last night with @splitenzofficial for the cheekiest Sunday night walk down memory lane which was topped off with Noel Crombie rocking out the spoons and the crowd going nuts
And here we are at the end of this chapter! How lucky am I to have 2 opportunities in my career to work with Robbie Macrae. Today is his last day at @aucklandartsfestival , heading off on new adventures at his own pace. It’s been wonderful to have so many adventures together in the pursuit of arts moments to share with Tāmaki Makaurau - and now that it’s 3pm Friday we might consider one last staffies drinks. Congrats on all you have achieved pal :) 📷 Rob Trathen
A return to the Pridelands for another opening night of The Lion King which is looking theatrically stunning in @capitoltheatresydney - a host of great artists of Aotearoa joining this production - shout out to @rutenespooner playing Pumbaa this time around. Special mention of @jamesrobertson86 - always incredibly proud of what he is achieving in his life and work - this one is definitely one to be proud of pal
It took me till the last evening to have a moment in Evenescent by @ateliersisu - a massive March of fabulous moments of @aucklandartsfestival welcoming long time supporters of our kaupapa and a stack of curious new attendees. I hope our audiences all fell in love with a new piece of Tāmaki Makaurau over the festival. Massive shout out to the artists, creatives, crews, venues and galleries who joined us to tell tell incredible stories and create shared experiences. At the heart of the festival is a dedicated team who have worked tirelessly to deliver this special programme of arts for the city. The collective effort and pride is felt every moment of the 18 days and beyond. Now onto 2027 … 📷 by @festival_lyfe
