Head of Los Angeles’ legendary Spotlight party, he’s been celebrating and reclaiming queer roots of house, techno, and underground dance music for a decade.

Observed worldwide, TDOV honors the achievements and contributions of transgender and gender-nonconforming people while drawing attention to the ongoing fight for trans justice.
Expect a night built on sound, presence, and collective energy: intention circle, queer tarot, tombola fundraiser, ambient session, and a full lineup of trans DJs, featuring special guest Julie Desire all the way from Paris.
Trans and gender-diverse people, allies, and communities are invited onto the floor – together, present, and unapologetic – honoring those who came before us and those shaping what comes next.

Opening the night is the playful provocateur, Peachlyfe. Blending psychoactive techno, swampy psy-trance, and alien acid, their DJ sets intentionally induce a state of sonic mindfuck, while their holistic live performances aim for transcendence. Peachlyfe’s music is fast-paced and high-energy; their sonic nectar is always freshly squeezed.
MILO MAKUA
Taking over from Peachlyfe is Milo Makua: Hypnotic, heads-down, and subtly unhinged. She navigates the deeper ends of techno through entrancing rhythmic play and textured atmospheres that pull you inward before pushing you forward. Her sets glide between wormhole minimalism and driving 4x4 pressure, tension coiling steadily across Poolen. Playful yet precise, she shapes the floor in preparation for the expert of schranz and hard techno, Klangkuenstler.
