THANK YOU LAABF! 🥹 Thank you @printedmatter_artbookfairs for choosing my lil press as a recipient of the Shannon Michael Cane Award. I would have never made it all the way to LA without it 💌 I've had such a wonderful experience tabling at the bookfair, meeting new people and discovering new work. So many cool exhibitors, such good vibes. My heart is full! And I'm still riding the LA wave with a pitstop at the ONE Archives where I donated my zine collection and did some research about Drag Queens publications. Will do another post about this later. LA is WILD and I have felt so very welcomed by every single person I met 🫶 I couldn't take so many photos of other people's booths bc I tabled alone so here's a lil shout out section to some v cool exhibitors I've met at the fair: @three6sashiaa thank you sm for the massive trade. Welcome to my office! I decided to give you all a lil tour as I get ready to travel to the LA Art Book Fair (May 7-10th). I've been busy printing, binding and cutting zines & recording cassette mixtapes. Here's a lil preview of some of the things I'll bring with me. 👀 In case you missed it, I officially picked a name for my zine press and here's some info about what I do! 🔗 ABOUT LOST AND FOUND PRESS 🔗 Lost and Found Press is a one-person press run by Aimé Dabbadie, focused on documenting queer underground culture through zines and small-run publications. The press grew out of Aimé’s earlier project Xem Skaters (2016–2019), a community-led genderqueer skateboarding zine, and continues to center queer and trans voices through accessible, print-based projects. Most publications are photo zines that document drag, punk, and the DIY performance scene, especially in Berlin. Alongside self-initiated projects, Lost and Found Press hosts workshops in collaboration with local archives and queer collectives. These workshops often result in collaborative zines and are designed to demystify publishing and support people in starting their own zine-making journey. The press also restores and reprints out-of-print queer publications from the 1960s to the early 2000s. Many of these were produced and shared outside formal channels and have been excluded from institutional archives. Reissuing them is a way to keep this history in circulation and accessible. Lost and Found Press is informed by the radical history of queer small presses as tools for survival, resistance, and community building. Zines and underground publications have long been used to connect people across distance, share knowledge outside mainstream media, and preserve queer memory in the face of ongoing erasure. The press continues this tradition by treating publishing not just as documentation, but as an active political and cultural practice. 💄 EAT LIPSTICK - CITIZEN PAIN 💄 New zine alert! 🚨 Eat Lipstick disco glam stars are releasing their 3rd record of punk anthems "Citizen Pain" on 9th of May at Bi Nuu in Berlin!! The record is named after the untimely passing of member Lehua Lii Ludlow 🕊️ I had the pleasure of working on a zine with a mix of photos I took at their West Germany show & archives collected from each band members collaged alongside the lyrics. The zine comes in a limited edition of 100 copies and will be available for purchase at their show 💅 And I'll have a few copies on display at LAABF @printedmatter_artbookfairs may 7-10th 👀 Thanx @eatlipstick for the trust 💌

new zine alert!! i had the pleasure to document @polefluid performing at the latest @sweat_rave_collective party in march and turned the snaps into a cool crunchy zine & here's a lil preview 💦 polefluid is a stunning berlin-based pole dancer offering jaw dropping genderfuck performances - i can't wait to see more and i encourage all party organizers to book them! 🔥

i'm headed to the bxl queer zine fest this weekend 💌 i'll do a quick pit stop at Kiosk Radio on thursday the 16th at 20:00 for an hour of music found in queer zines.
