The Dames and The Doll at Les Dominicaines Alsace. Imagine, its the 14th of February, Valentines Day, and you go to the mediaeval convent turned cabaret space to be amused, aroused, and enchanted by three seductive dolls. For the first time, Mona LaDoll performing with The Dames. Feathers and blood, words which ring true and songs which ring in your ears for days to come. These three sisters who grew up together in Berlin reunite after years to build an effigy of their love together.

_March 2026_ Full blog at nancynutter.net/blog I’m 30! What a time to be alive! I made it! Look at me go. I really don’t get worried about ageing, I am just so happy that I made it this far. It makes me proud for surviving and excited for whats to come. And I did it! 30 solar rotations. I lived, laughed, loved. I had my heart broken, I lost friends, I cried until I choked. I got blackout drunk more times than I can remember, I was rejected from art school, I almost drowned in quicksand. I built a home with the love of my life, made music with my sister, started hormones, got sober. I fucked wildly in so many places. I performed my ass off. I got naked, twirled fire, covered myself in my own piss; I sang and danced and poured my hear out. I grew my hair, I shaved my head. I tried, I failed, I succeeded. It makes me so emotional, to be so full with a life that I am so happy to be living.  This months reflections are a special one since the last day of March is my birthday. Aires baby all grown up. I just got back from holidays, my first proper break since 2023, busy girl. Almost two weeks in the Canary Islands with my gorgeous families. I feel so blessed to be cared for so deeply by such wonderful people. My parents are amazing, so happy they shaped my worldview, my ethics, my attitude. They taught me to enjoy good times and good company, to take no shit, and that taking care of other people is one of life’s greatest gifts. My drag family are also precious. This time away was a rare and necessary moment to connect and luxuriate in our lives away from the hustle.  Before going on holiday, I was hustling! As per bloody usual, spreadsheets and emails, songs, and stories, and slutty dancing. I love it. But by the end of the holiday I was ready to get back to work. I must be on the right path. Honestly this one feels naturally short n sweet. Im feeling profound, succinct, and I have a bowl edged in uncooked cake batter to lick. Happy birthday to me!

_February 2026_ Full blog at nancynutter.net/blog February was very much a month with two halves. For the first couple of weeks I was in Alsace with The Dames at a Cabaret residency- Les Dominicaines, and for the next two I was back in Berlin scrambling through all of the things I had put on the side during the residency. Alsace was a dream! What a pleasure and a privilege to have two weeks with my sister, working on music, developing our craft, and dreaming of future projects. We were staying in a little flat which was next door to the former abbey where we would rehearse and perform. The space was beautiful, brick walls hundreds of years old. Architecture designed with acoustics and ceremony in mind. We were developing a show for Valentine’s day and wrote two original songs about love... Back in Berlin it was full steam ahead developing a new party with many of the people with whom we made LBC. The dissolution of this party was a tragedy yet we are trying to see it also as an opportunity. Who is afraid of a transition? It’s a very normal and natural part of existence. We roll with the punches, thrive under pressure, and return resilient... Yesterday I woke up to the news that the Green Party won an MP in the north of England for the first time, on a platform which supports wealth tax, trans rights, migrant rights, and to stop arming the genocide in Palestine. It feels like the biggest thing to happen in British politics in my lifetime. Like finally people are out of the mainstream media and political establishment which drip feeds division and hatred and intolerance in order to maintain profit margins for wealthy donors. People have officially had enough. They are sick of lies, of corruptions, and of blatant war crimes being excused and supported. It makes me feel proud to be a northerner. As Hannah Spencer said in her victory speech- we stick up for each other. It’s as simple as that. What a star, I have hope for the future... My role as a performer allows me to be a vessel for the empathy of the spectators. It’s like a microcosm of the scope of emotion in which people are invited to practice empathy... _January 2026_ Full length text at nancynutter.net/blog What a ride. For me, this year kicked off to a rocking start. Following from the explosion of energy that was The Dames Sylvester, I enjoyed some downtime in Blightey. Family wedding, dipping into London, soaking up the westend, getting inspired by connecting to an earlier version of me. Landing back in Berlin it was full steam ahead. Recording a tape with The Bricks, writing a musical, and moving into a new studio. Its been all go! I’ve been maintaining some grounding practices, writing 2 pages every morning, and doing a drawing every evening. In the backdrop of a hectic life and a harrowing political landscape, this has been helping me to show up for me, so I can better show up for others. At least, this is what I endeavour to do.  ... Its been years now that I’ve not been posting on Instagram, luckily I’ve had help to accept collaborations. The need to ground and connect has led to the decision to publish little monthly journal entries. I know long format text isn’t trendy, so cudous if you got this far. I dont trust instagram at all, and I will also publish a full length blog on my website nancynutter.net. Instagram is a tool weilded by the super rich to placate the masses and drip feed advertisements. It had hijacked our brain chemistry with dopamine. I'm sick of feeling like a broken record. a After such a long break, with the help of the ‘one sec’ blocker, I’m trying to reestablish a connection to the platform in a way that feels worthwhile and wholesome. Who knows of I’ll keep it up, who knows if anyone even cares, broadcasting to the void (what a strange predicament we have found ourselves in), but I guess you dont know until you’ve tried it, and then given it a second chance.
