Parade Announcement 🦄 This year we will expand the parade with a 'queer sound bike' all the way from start till finish! 'What would the Love Parade be without queers & gender freaks? This year BASH IS BACK is bringing the spirit back to the unhinged & unapologetically HOMOseggsual roots of this street promenade. Expect local icons behind the decks (and handlebar) as we’ll be venturing out to the public pretending we can cycle while DJing. We will provide you with cherry-picked throwbacks, nostalgia, horniness, and silly fun, while hoping that this doesn’t end in a train wreck (or maybe it should?). Bring yourself (don’t even bother with a bike), your friends, your lovers, chosen family, local community cuties, and your spring flings! Dear community! Quite honestly, there are no words to describe how beautiful and magical the Saturday event was. We’re still in disbelief in how many trans and gender non-conforming humans took part in this event, and united under one roof to celebrate this immensely important day, giving their loving, caring and uplifting energies on the floor, and to each other. We thank each and one of you from the bottom of our hearts for showing up, for taking the time to be present with your fellow trannies, for sharing beautifully authentic expressions, creating a core memory moment that will stay with us forever. This event wouldn’t have happened if it hadn’t been for our insanely talented line up, as well as all of our tombola contributors, friends and partners who supported us along the way, club staff, and the venue who trusted us with the event. While we raised just over 2500 DKK on the night, our donation box remains open for anyone who would still like to contribute. All proceeds Will go toward gender-affirming care for our local trans sisters. Their sound lays with propulsive basslines, rolling and punchy kicks, proggy textures, heartfelt vocal samples, and an abundance of cheeky hi-hats. With a deep appreciation for the early club culture, 90s rave nostalgia, and all things soulful, their sets predominantly delve into groovy house, with occasional ventures into breaks, electro, bass, UK garage, hard groove, and playful, percussive soundscapes. Blending psychoactive techno, swampy psy-trance, and alien acid, their DJ sets intentionally induce a state of sonic mindfuck, while their holistic live performances target transcendence. Transitioning through jazz music, composition, and the electric bass, peachlyfe rejected the rigidity of their formal conservatory training after finding freedom and empowerment in the culture and queer community of electronic music. Since then, the Fast Forward member and Endurance resident has become a mainstay within Copenhagen’s fast-growing techno scene, and earned an international following that’s seen them booked across 4 continents.
