I ran with @gotrnwil in their 5K today as a run buddy. I love this program and the confidence/positivity it helps build in the girls who participate. The girl I ran with was unbelievable. I had to work hard to keep up with her! She kept pushing and kept me motivated throughout the entire run. Her mantra during the race is one that’s going to stick with me anytime I’m struggling during a run: “We did this!” If you ever have a chance - volunteer to run with this group. Marathon Training Update: Time to Taper! @runrocknroll San Diego Rock & Roll Sunday, May 31, 2026 During the next two weeks of tapering, I am trusting the training, but know I may experience "Taper Madness." Some say I may feel a phantom ache in the knee, feel incredibly sluggish on a simple 4-mile run, or feel anxious about losing fitness. This is completely normal. Your body is adapting to the rest and shifting into a healing state. Trust the mileage you have already put in your legs over the last few months. I appreciate your support and encouragement! ❤️ // DM for more glee adventures: Instagram.com/GeneLeeMD • GeneLeeSkinClinic.com . . . . . #EmsculptNeo #Emsculpt #Emtone #Sylfirm #SylfirmX sandiegobotox hillcrestbotox hillcrestsandiego xeomin jeuveau aesthetic botox skinpen microneedling prp dysport toxin filler injectables injector rejuvenate antiaging skin beauty medspa lajolla california geneleemd melasma rosacea

Sedona Canyons 125 Part 3 - Fort Tuthill to Finish. Getting to Ft Tuthill was a big mental boost. Not only is it a cool aid station with amazing meatballs and marinara but you are in Flagstaff and there are two manageable sections left. Getting there came at a bit of a cost however. Coming down the long dirt road, I looked over to my left and saw a giant stuffed rabbit. I thought that was pretty cool to be on a bench in front of someone’s house. However, there was no house and no bench and this rabbit was staring me down. Great! The hallucinations were back for the first time. Shortly thereafter, I missed a turn and added about 1.5 bonus miles. I thought I would be at Ft Tuthill before sunrise but that wasn’t happening now. I was very cold at this point. All of my cold weather gear plus an extra layer wasn’t enough and I needed the sun on me. The trail was beautiful climbing into Tuthill and this aid station provided a really nice reset for me. As I headed out I was still thinking I would finish just before sunset. Nice trails leaving out but my feet were really starting to bother me and I hit a low spot. Just then I hear a runner from behind call my name and it was Ricky Urias the Athlete Coordinator for Team @ultraspire This gave me a huge boost. More nice trails. More foot pain. My blisters were barking big time. I just kept moving forward. Chatted with some different runners. Finally, my feet and I had to have a talk and I started yelling at them to “stop being such a little B and stop hurting!”…and they did for the most part. Now I just needed to get to the final aid station at FAC. Barbara was moving around even more and Abbey, again, was fantastic. I took a 30 minute nap to try and stave off the hallucinations (didn’t stop completely) and I got moving. I knew at this point I wasn’t finishing before sundown but when I had to turn that waist lamp on for the third night, it was a bit demoralizing. I was just ready to be done. After some more nice Flagstaff trails, there was a very long descent on a community trail behind some homes. It took forever. Continued in comments…

I can’t get over how good the @corosglobal Jakob Ingebrigtsen Pace 4 looks! The “Fearless” campaign really speaks to me as I have to remind myself to be fearless in the face of hard workouts (and getting up early to run). 🎧: @shokzusa #shokzstar ⌚️: @corosglobal 🎽: @korsarunning 🩳: @pathprojects 👟: @nikerunning

Loving @howiesternphoto race photos from the San Diego 100 ❤️ Still riding the high of completing my first 100 miler at this phenomenal event. Howie’s photography skills are superb - capturing the joy and excitement of being out on the course with amazing friends, runners, and volunteers. Grateful for the times Tina started running when she saw the photographer and also grateful for the times I saw the photographer and just said “screw it I’m walking” 🤣 Yes this was freaking hard and yes it was one of the best times of my life. Cheers to the next adventure! Race stats: 102.47 miles with 15,886 ft of elevation in 31 hours and 43 minutes. @san_diego_100 @strava @hoka @garmin @garminrunning @ultimatedirectionusa @pathprojects @stridesinrecovery #runner #marathon #ultramarathon #sandiego100 #medalmonday
