HOUSE OF ORBI
The title of this exhibition, ‘House of ORBI’, is twofold: It points to a specific farm house building, located in the countryside of Southern Jutland, that is under rearrangement and construction. It also points to the gradual formation of a variety of activities and experiments, summer schools and other ‘schools’, into the relative institutional stability of the association ORBI. ‘House’, in this derived sense, hints at the gathering and condensation of what must remain scattered, manyfold and widespread. This exhibition holds, as its premise, that in order to portray one of these ‘houses’, one must attempt to portray the other.
The exhibition ‘House of ORBI’ can be visited at Dinesen Showroom, Søtorvet 5, Copenhagen, Tuesday to Friday at 9-17 and Saturday at 10-15.
