A new multi-residential project in St. Albans by NMBW Architecture Studio, in association with Monash Art, Design and Architecture (MADA), was recently featured in Architecture Australia’s March/April issue. This ‘dignity-enabling’ low rise apartment building comprises of large windows, expansive wet rooms, shared spaces and large outdoor terraces, all surrounded by gutsy galvanised cladding . Core filled blockwork creates a load bearing durable structure, with well-finished concrete floors throughout offering a minimalist, industrial feel. We have recently completed this new country style house outside Flinders on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula with Noxon Architecture. This house consists of dark stained timber cladding - to align with the earthy coastal surroundings, exposed glulam timber rafters, a suspended reinforced concrete raft slab, and a screw pile footing system.

Fleming Park House has been nominated in the ArchDaily 2022 Building of the Year Awards. The residence was constructed to fit a large family and was completed in 2021. The structure is comprised of timber, steel sheets, plywood sheets and concrete blocks, which all enhance the residence’s durability and sustainability.
