Join Opera Untapped and Circus 617 at deCordova Sculpture Park and the New England Botanic Garden for an unforgettable evening of music, movement, and color under the open sky. Bring a blanket or chair, gather with friends and family, and experience a performance unlike anything else in the region. This one-of-a-kind production blends vocal acrobatics with physical virtuosity, featuring many of the area’s leading circus artists and classical singers. Back by popular demand - A dreamy spring afternoon the whole community can enjoy. Part concert, part arts and crafts, part garden adventure — designed for everyone to enjoy at their own pace. With music inspired by the natural world, DIY crafts, garden activities, and simple ways to support pollinators at home, there’s something for every age. *Bring your butterfly or fairy wings and delight in an afternoon of arts and culture with no stuffy dress code. After 15 years as one of the most dynamic chapters of the international Opera on Tap network, Opera on Tap Boston is now Opera UnTapped, a newly independent nonprofit creating innovative, artist-led opera experiences across New England. Since 2010, we’ve expanded access to opera by bringing high-quality performances into community spaces across the region. Along the way, we’ve created opportunities for hundreds of artists and developed work that is collaborative, inventive, and shaped by the spaces where it’s shared. As our work has grown, so has our vision. Opera UnTapped is the natural next step—for both our artists and our audiences. We’ll continue fan-favorite programs like Arias Aloft and Flowers & Opera, while expanding into new collaborations, new venues, and new ways of sharing this art form.
