One year ago today, I made my Carnegie Hall conducting debut with @midamericaproductions , leading the Verdi Messa da Requiem with a stellar quartet of soloists who have become friends, and surrounded by the love, support, voices and sounds of choirs and players that I have either LONG loved or come to love dearly. While the fact that I have returned to that historic hall and stage a number of times since to conduct is still a bit surreal, and there have been some necessary shifts since then as well, I'm so grateful and blessed for that day, those singers, that orchestra, and that amazing team!
Here's to more adventures, and much more music, my friends!

As @nerorchestra , @mightiermouse85 , and I came together for the first time last night at @clarkuniversity , the sound world of the piece and Brian Story's compositional voice came alive and confirmed many interpretive ideas I developed instinctively as I prepared to both conduct its premiere as well as prepare the @clarku.choir to participate in it. Discovery of this kind is such a rewarding part of the process.
Grateful to Christopher Shepard, @musicworcester and @theworcesterchorus for their invitation and continued collaboration.

From June 15 to July 5, 2026, the Teatro Comunale of Cesenatico (FC) becomes the summer home of opera thanks to the new edition of the Operastudio “Opera al Mare”, a project created by Opera Vermont that brings together training, production, and an immersive artistic experience on the Adriatic coast of Romagna.
