2025…what a year. I took more risks this year than every before. From auditioning for grad school to quitting my job and moving out my apartment. I read more. I’ve written more. I released my first short film and finished another. I’m proud. I’ve grown so much—spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally. I fell deeper in love with myself and the life I’ve built. So many great things have happened. I told myself there would be change and there was. I took a break from the stage to reevaluate just what type of artist I wanted to be and I put an emphasis on discovery. I got to be apart of 2 of my Bestfriend’s wedding. I got closer to the people I love and forgave the people who I’ve felt wronged me before. Overall I learned to lead with love in everything I do and to stay curious. Through the mistakes and triumphs I’ve pushed through. If I’m being honest I’m leaving 2025 heartbroken. But sometimes you gotta break things down to build them back up. I love you guys. 2026 will be everything we imagine and more.

Extra Days is officially an AWARD WINNING FILM! We were accepted to 7 film festivals in the year that we spent submitting and it is an incredible honor to have our work recognized amongst many amazing filmmakers. When myself and @nathanlblair first decided we would start creating our own work we had only one goal: tell OUR stories. Extra Days For what is supposed to be a milestone as a young black man, but feels more so as though life has stricken one’s livelihood down to a routine chore, Hampton Cade Morrison’s 30th birthday has just passed and he’s gloomy about the celebration of getting older, so he musters up the courage to take an extra day that his ancestors could not, so that he may see himself in the flower, make a record of his identity, and to be proud of where he’s going, growing and came from while taking his extra day. I present to you all the trailer for Extra Days! My brother @nathanlblair and I decided last summer that we would create the roles we dreamed of playing. No more waiting for the door to open—we would build it ourselves. After a successful festival run we have decided to share this film with you all this Sunday via a YouTube live stream. S.O.S Back in April I was afforded the amazing opportunity to take on the role of The Rapper S.O.S and it was the experience of a lifetime. This opportunity came at a time when I was starting to focus more on film rather than theater. This was my FIRST Lead role in a short film. This role challenged me in many ways and I was happy to be apart of this exciting journey.
