Definitely a career highlight to have directed the 3 time Tony award winning actor Andre De Shields in this short. His stirring delivery met and exceeded the way I heard him in my head when I wrote it. He is but one of the notorious and incredibly talented artists I was privileged to shoot for this piece.

Finally found the time to edit “Dirty Secret”. As awesome as everything about being deep in this rodeo was, I think the coolest thing was shooting it alongside my very talented son on 2nd camera. An Unexpected Gift: It’s been almost 4 years since we lost my dear friend Jim (it was my 3rd such loss in as many years). I was recently tasked with editing a short form of the Christmas film we shot 13 years ago in Colorado. Sitting in the editing bay I got to spend some unexpected time with him sifting through the hours of footage and sparking memories of laughs and good times forgotten. It was a blessing I didn’t know I needed. In my mind he’s still up on that mountain looking down. I’m wishing you all find joy with the ones you love this season. - Merry Christmas.
