A big moment for The Whale 🐋 Last week we ran our first full-size content tests, exploring the visual treatment and animated movement of water, as well as the cueing and fidelity of our custom creative captions system. Next: we bring in the physical set, actors, and Spatial Audio! Created with @esjayclark @jackhardiker and our amazing team (all tagged), and funded by @immersivearts_uk - Video description: A montage of scenes inside a large-scale projection space showing various animated ocean environments. Waves and ocean textures shift in style and color across the room. Interspersed are large text screens that display messages in different font sizes. Audio description: Ethereal whale song created using various string instruments. #immersive #theatre #projection #accessibility

From an oddball idea born while working on the @rca_digitaldirection shows at @framelessldn to speaking at the London Film Festival…IS WILD. So proud of the team! Thanks @uschrauth for curating such a supportive space. Great to see so many old and new friends. Now we have to finish the thing @esjayclark

Through the Cracks is now available to download! This brand new free Augmented Reality app shares untold stories of people whose tales have fallen - both figuratively and literally - through the cracks. Using the app on your smartphone or tablet, you will see a virtual crack appear on the physical floor beneath you. Through this crack, you will watch and listen to a story unfold beneath your feet. This method of presenting stories through Augmented Reality has the quality of an intimate performance that can be experienced anywhere. Co-created by Office of Everyone’s Jack Hardiker and ETT’s Artistic Director Richard Twyman, the instalment is written by Sonali Bhattacharyya. Jennifer Bakst directs Ian McKellen (Narrator), Sophie Melville (Milly), Annabel Baldwin (Patricia/Pearl), and Dorothea Myer-Bennet (Maggie).  Senior AR developer and 3D artist: Antek Jancelewicz Download links in bio ⬆️ #WeAreETT #OfficeOfEveryone #ARTheatre #ianmckellen
