“The Whale” is a new experimental theatre experience
@framelessldn from 6 to 8 March Co-Directed by our MA Digital Direction Tutor (Research) Jack Hardiker-Bresson
@jackhardiker and Playwright and Creative Director of Raucous, Sharon Clark
@esjayclark .
The Whale brings the classic novel Moby-Dick to life through a new hybrid form of immersive theatre. A specially developed system of spatial creative captioning weaves text directly into the projected environment, making language part of the landscape.
The Whale is one of just nine projects selected for the Expand category of the Immersive Arts Prize, chosen from more than 2,500 applications nationwide.
