Today we shared a work-in-progress performance of “Drawing Lines” at the Immersive Acts Symposium at
@royalcollegeofart Here are some snippets from the show.
Drawing Lines is a live performance exploring the relationship between the moving body, sound, and technology. We explore the use of HCI in performance making, tracing movement and projecting it as trails on screen, finding moments that are fleeting, unrepeatable, and driven by kinaesthetic impulse. Technology here is an enabler, surfacing stimuli already latent within the body.
The project is being developed at the Snap Visualisation Lab at the RCA, supported by the VizLab Fund.
The fully realised show will be open to the public in May. Watch this space! Thank you for everyone who came to the symposium today.
