Last week, Central alumna Jessica Swale has won Best New Musical at the Olivier Awards for Paddington the Musical - one of British theatre’s highest honours. It’s a powerful reflection of the kind of work Central graduates go on to shape. Ambitious, widely celebrated, and resonant with audiences at scale. Swale’s win, alongside the show’s seven awards on the night, highlights the reach and impact of our alumni across the industry. Read more in our latest blog - link in bio 📸 @peachyraith

For emerging directors who care about bringing stories to life on stage, this is a different kind of practice. Working with Katie Mitchell means slowing down, paying attention, and letting meaning emerge through action. It’s detailed, demanding, and deeply collaborative. The kind of process that shifts how you think about theatre directing altogether. If that way of working resonates, join us for next term's intake. Link in bio under Short Courses.
