We repurposed one of our @djiglobal Inspire 2 drones for a vehicle mounted car rig. With Zenmuse X7 camera, it shoots 6K raw and being lightweight, we can get rock solid driving shots with minimal fuss and setup time. We’ve tested this on all road surfaces and on closed circuits and we are very happy with the results!
Kenrick’s ambition and work in the form of sand art is profound and has been grounding for me. His holistic approach to his work is grounded in awareness of the natural world, which is one of the reasons it is so incredibly special. It has challenged and inspired my curiosity of what art can be. Made for fun, it has been a privilege to follow @rakehealing around the country documenting this special form of art, connection and community.
Recent times I’ve just had my head down completely focusing on the day to day but the last week has been so good that I feel the need to make a post about it. Putting aside all the negativity and completely insane things going on in our world, we had the immense privilege of working with @cinemcgregor again for @naturalselectionbike in Queenstown over the past week. Flying with these guys whom I admire so much is one of those moments I’m filled with gratitude and I’d be lying if I didn’t say it does reignite the spark of passion for my profession. Thank you to the great people in my favourite part of the world for the best start to the year of the horse I could ask for. Water what fuels your soul and let old ways and systems die. It was such a surprise and honour to recieve a Gold Cinematography award and be commended for the Al Guildford Emerging Cinematographer award for our Manukard Gard film we created with @archipro_@masonandwalesarchitects@cassells_green at the NZCS awards in Auckland on Saturday.
