Hello friends ☺️🖤 When I founded #NKPR 22 years ago, I had a vision, a quiet knowing that I wanted to create a space where I could work on projects that truly mattered. I wanted to collaborate with people I admired, with shared values and a passion for making a difference. Above all, I wanted to ensure that every endeavor was guided by purpose. I put my trust in my intuition, knowing that if I stayed true to my values, the right path would unfold. I always believed that #PR was more than just gaining press coverage for the sake of it, it was about storytelling. So, we dug deep to understand what really mattered to our client partners, immersing ourselves in their world to build authentic connections with their audiences. Everything we did was rooted in meaning. Every day, I am inspired by the incredible people I have the honour of working with, my amazing team at @nkpr.inc , and the beloved client partners who share this journey with us. For today’s #MotivationMonday, I want to remind you that the most important thing is to discover who you truly are. What are your non-negotiables? What gives you a sense of purpose? Find that, and follow it, because success isn’t a one-size-fits-all concept. That’s why it’s important to ask yourself what a successful life looks like for YOU. For me, it’s about work-life integration because I don’t believe in the idea of “work-life balance.” My life is fully integrated—the people I work with are the same people I love to spend time with, whether it’s day or night. Work on projects that matter, collaborate with people who care and surround yourself with those who share your values. Ultimately, success isn’t about achieving a specific goal, but about aligning with purpose and finding joy in the journey.

About last night…🖤 Honoured to be recognized as one of @wxnetwork ’s Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winners in the Entrepreneurs category. This recognition is especially meaningful, marking my fourth award and official induction into the WXN Hall of Fame. ✨ Thank you, @sherria_stevens , for leading such a thoughtful and impactful organization. The community you’ve created is one where women can truly connect, support, and champion one another. It is a space that encourages deeper conversations, sparks meaningful collaboration, and reminds us of the power we have to lift each other up, both within our industry and far beyond it. Moments like this are a reminder that none of this work happens alone. I’m grateful for the mentors, colleagues, clients, and partners who continue to support, challenge, and inspire me every day. 🖤🙏 Thank you @wxnetwork for this recognition and for the work you do to amplify the voices of women who are redefining leadership in Canada. #WXNTop100 #WXNHallOfFame

New Client Alert 🖤✨ When I’m on Bloor Street, one of my favourite destinations is @manulifecentre , so I’m thrilled to officially welcome them to the @NKPR.inc family. It’s one of those places that truly has it all. Whether I’m picking up a new pair of jeans at @shoprainbowjeans , browsing the shelves at @indigo , grabbing groceries or a quick bite at @eatalytoronto , or catching a movie at the theatre, it’s a destination that seamlessly fits into everyday life. What makes this partnership feel so aligned is that Manulife Centre isn’t just a place to shop - it’s a true lifestyle hub at the heart of the city. We’re excited to bring its story to life on social media and showcase the people, places, and experiences that make it such an iconic part of our community. #NKClientLove #ManulifeCentre #TorontoLife

One of the greatest gifts of my career has been the friendships that have grown from it. 💫✨ When you choose to work with people who share your values—people who lead with heart, purpose, and integrity - something special happens. Work becomes more than work. It becomes a source of connection, inspiration, and genuine joy. 🥰 That’s what work-life integration has always meant to me. Tea for Blu was a beautiful reminder of this as I stood alongside dear friends and colleagues at Sara Margani’s inspiring fundraiser in support of the @blugenesfoundqtion - when people come together with a shared purpose magic happens. Sara has turned profound personal family loss into extraordinary impact, raising critical funds to advance gene therapy to help find a cure for genetic disorder through the work at @sickkidstoronto - giving hope to so many families. When values align, magic happens. And when the people you work with become people you truly love, that is one of life’s greatest gifts.. ✨💙 📸 @georgepimentel1 #WorkLifeIntegration #WomenSupportingWomen #Friendship #Community #Impact

One of my favourite signs of spring in the city… 🌸✨ This past weekend, spring officially sprung in @bloor_yorkville with @fleursdevilles FLORA. For a few days, the neighbourhood was transformed by stunning floral installations, each bringing creativity, beauty, and flower power to the streets. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Bloor-Yorkville for nearly two decades, and it’s a neighbourhood that has always held a special place in my heart. I’ve called this area home for over 20 years, and watching it evolve into one of Toronto’s most vibrant destinations for fashion, culture, hospitality, and community has been incredibly meaningful to watch. Fleurs de Villes is always one of my favourite ways to welcome the season and to experience the neighbourhood in a different way. 💐 #BloorYorkville #ExploreToronto #NKClientLove

This Mother’s Day, I’m reflecting on the greatest gift I received at eighteen: becoming a mother. Motherhood, gave my life direction. It shaped how I lead, how I build, and how I show up every single day. My son became my compass, my purpose, and the reason behind so much of what I do. In my latest Substack, The Power of Direction, I share the story behind finding your “why” and offer a few questions to help you uncover what truly matters most in your own life. Click the link in my bio to read the full piece. 🔗 Wishing a beautiful Mother’s Day weekend to all the moms, stepmoms, dog moms, and the women who nurture, guide, and love so generously. #NKConfidential #FindYourWhy #Substack #MothersDay

Happy #FashionFriday friends ✨ Looking back at these moments from the @ellecanada Powerful Women Issue, photographed by @thekittyholland . I loved this #NKAllBlackEverything look from @stylemelanielyne . 🖤 For me, always wearing black is intentional. It creates clarity and removes distraction, allowing me to focus on what matters most from day to evening. There’s a confidence that comes from consistency and knowing exactly what works for you. ✨ Hair & Makeup💄 @jodiurichuk #ELLECanada #MelanieLyne

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. 🍋✨ Success is rarely about moving the fastest. It is about moving with intention, clarity, and purpose. Over the years, I have learned that success is built on a few essential foundations. Because the truth is, the most meaningful accomplishments are not achieved overnight. They are built through small, intentional actions, repeated day after day. Success is not a destination. It is a practice. One rooted in purpose, discipline, and the courage to keep moving forward. What is one habit that has made the biggest difference in your own journey? ✨ #NKInspiration #NKPOV #NKConfidential #BuildingSuccess

Giving back to the world in a positive and meaningful way is a core value of mine, and it’s so special to see Michael “Pinball” Clemons and @dianeclemons on the cover of @zoomermagazine . ✨📚 I’m inspired by Michael and Diane’s leadership, grounded in humility, humanity, purpose, service, and the real impact they’re creating through the @pinballfoundation . Through their work, they’re expanding access for equity deserving youth, opening doors to education, mentorship, and meaningful career opportunities. 🎓📖 Michael and Diane founded the Pinball Foundation in 2007, inspired by their own experiences growing up in lower-income households and the barriers they faced accessing education. It’s that lived understanding that continues to shape everything they do, and the intention behind how they give back, with 1,422 scholarships and bursaries awarded to date. ❤️ In Michael’s words… “Every day above ground shows potential.” A line that perfectly captures the way Michael and Diane show up in the world, every single day. ✨ Such a beautiful and inspiring story, captured by my dear friend @suzanneboyd_ 📸 Photographer @chrisnichollsphotography 📸 Creative Director @tanyawattcreative 🎨 Art Director @_chrisbond Grooming @tanamakeuphair Styling Assistant @evangrundmann #NKClientLove #PinballFoundation #ZoomerMagazine

The Met Gala has always been fashion’s biggest night.
But this year? It felt like PR’s. Some of the most talked-about moments weren’t about the theme…
they were about timing. Blake Lively making an “unexpected” return to the red carpet - clearly premeditated and timed precisely as her legal narrative resets. Not coincidence. Strategy. Beyoncé with Blue Ivy and Nicole Kidman with Sunday Rose -  a quiet but very visible next-generation introduction. The kind of moment that’s staged with intention. Katy Perry leaning into visibility at a moment where her relevance matters. And then the brand plays… The cast of The Devil Wears Prada showing up in force during opening week - (notably minus Meryl Streep, who has never attended). Its own kind of PR - consistency as positioning.  Zac Posen dressing Kendall Jenner with a look inspired by a Gap T-shirt - a clear brand signal, reinforcing his creative direction and bringing mass-market heritage into a luxury conversation. And of course, Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos. A reminder that the Met Gala is a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art - where power, access, and capital have always been part of the equation. The first Monday in May has become a global stage where: Relevance is reinforced.
Narratives are reset.
And visibility is never accidental. Luxury houses dressing ambassadors for amplification,
Even absence… becoming its own form of PR. With all the PR plays…
I almost forgot the theme. Costume Art.
Dress code: Fashion is Art.
The body as the canvas. And while some truly embraced that - turning fashion into something sculptural and worth pausing for - others felt more like strategy than story. But here’s the thing -  we are here for all of it!! 🖤🖤 Scroll through for the highlights. #NKPOV #MetGala26
