Amazing Grace: It was an emotional high point during a day of light and learning when @dianeclemons so beautifully sang this prayer. It was at Pier 21 in Halifax, and I was blessed to be part of the community flown there from Toronto by the @pinballfoundation to participate in Legacy Lift Off celebrating the foundation’s 20th Anniversary and #blackhistorymonth. In the presence of greatness and history, we were immersed in the world of Black Halifax -past, present, future - and witnessed Diane and Michael( aka Pinball ) Clemmons, the foundation’s co-founders - donate $250,000 dollars to the crucial work of @theafricvillemuseum . There will be full coverage to come on zoomer.com, but in the meantime as we took a beat to reflect on this profound experience unfolding that day, I was honoured to be photographed with the brilliant @amandabrugel by the brilliant @kardinalo .Thank You. 🙏🏾
