Happy heavenly 70th birthday sweet sister….we miss you dearly 🎂🎉❤️🕊️
Grief is a strange companion. It breaks us open, yet reminds us of how deeply we have loved. I’ve realized that losing a sister is losing a part of your own story. The laughter you shared, the secrets whispered, the moments only the two of you understood. But there is beauty in remembering her joy, her light, her presence and the way she made ordinary days feel special. Those memories are gifts I carry forward. Gentle reminders that love outlives loss and that her life continues to speak to every smile she left behind.
But there is also the ache. Those quiet moments when her absence feels so loud, and the heart bends under the weight of missing her. In those moments, I lean into the promise of one of her favourite scriptures, the promise God gave us in Deuteronomy 33:25 “AS OUR DAYS, SO SHALL OUR STRENGTH BE.”
That means whatever this day holds, whether sorrow or sweetness, God will match it with the strength I need to get through. We don’t walk this valley alone!
Our strength rises with each sunrise, and even when we feel weak, grace meets us where we are. I will continue to honour my sister’s memory, hold her close to my heart, and trust that God will carry me through the days ahead with the strength He has promised!!! Rest well my angel🕊️🙏🏾❤️I love you forever
