This gathering was about resetting for the new year without overwhelm.
We started with a simple but powerful worksheet because before tools, food, or tech, it’s essential to get clear on what you actually want for your health, how you want to feel, and what’s getting in the way. We identified common red flags that block taking action from overwhelm, all-or-nothing thinking, lack of clarity and why awareness alone isn’t enough. Action and execution are what create real change and the results we crave. Writing is yet another powerful tool. A study by Dr. Matthews found that you are 42% more likely to achieve your goals when they are written down.
From there, I shared easy mindset shifts and practical techniques to re-route challenges, along with my favorite real-life wellness resources. We explored the tech I use daily with @truvaga and quarterly with a CGM @nutrisenseio , learned how to pack a Passport to Health to-go bag for work or travel, w/ my essentials I can’t leave home without and covered simple 10-min meals including my fav seafood delivery @seatopia to no-cook meal services @splendid.spoon along with microrituals that actually fit into busy lives.

Had an amazing time teaching my Bolognese class this week for @kohler with @naowellness and @sharecare !
Inspired by my travels to Florence, I shared my go-to comfort food— pasta and Bolognese. 🍝
I also introduced my Mushroom Bolognese and “Sneaky Bolognese,” where I sneak in a whole head of broccoli for an extra nutrient boost (perfect for picky eaters!). I also shared ways to make this dish GF, low cal, and low carb with options like spaghetti squash and zucchini noodles. Participants also learned how to make a few beautiful salads to serve alongside this dish and what to do with leftover ingredients and how to use their scraps to make homemade stock.
So grateful to be able to share these recipes and wellness tips with such an awesome group. 🙌
