BTS Fame Hunter / Don’t Talk About Me. This was a fun and very personal project. I wanted the visuals to feel like they existed both forward and backward in time. We built AI-generated backgrounds, edited them to the full track, then re-shot everything on an LED wall using 16mm film with our talent. All captured in-camera, bringing the elements together so it feels like a single, unified world. Shooting on 16mm added softness and texture, grounding a highly digital process in something tactile and real. So, there’s a pretty wild statistic - women in the UK with heavy periods bleed the equivalent of two Olympic sized pools every year, combined. So we naturally created a gigantic sculpture of a pulsating blood drop and installed it in an empty pool. To honour those women and highlight Bodyform’s new product for heavy periods. SOUND ON 🔉 Jørgen Leth is no more. When Kristoffer Sonne and I ventured on our first big collaborative project, and my debut as director, with the film album Black Summer by The Pony Tales, Jørgen Leth was a strong source of inspiration. Not directly, but through his dogmatic and curious approach - “I know nothing, but I’d like to know something” So with that in mind Kristoffer created an insane musical landscape and I travelled to the Faroe Islands to shoot 9 consecutive films of teens in lust, love and hurt as violent as the landscape they inhabited. This was a special one. Kvik kitchens wanted to update the traditional kitchen commercial by telling stories of what really happens in this space. But there was a dogma. People should not be recognisable.
