A huge thank you to @countryandtownhouse for the generous reflection on Mother Vérité. As this year draws to a close, I always take a moment to reflect on the public projects that have shaped it. For 2025, no one projects stands more powerfully than this project in collaboration with @fridamom and @mtartagency 💙 To witness a sculpture that centres the postpartum body receive this level of public attention feels genuinely historic and to see her embraced and celebrated across so many influential platforms including @hypebae , @britishvogue Vogue @positivenewsuk @bazaaruk @thelondonstandard @the_female_lead @londonist_com @broadsheet.london @hellomag @people @stylistmagazine and so many more is an absolute dream come true 🥰☺️ This work marks a powerful cultural moment. The postpartum body has never before been depicted in this way in the public realm, and to see it recognised, shared and discussed so widely speaks to its deep resonance. It feels like a signal of a larger collective willingness to uncover what has long been hidden, and to honour motherhood and postpartum as complex, vital, diverse and deserving of visibility. There is real hope in that. I am incredibly grateful to the women who so generously shared their bodies, experiences and stories to make it possible, and the many partners who helped realise this project in the public realm including but not limited to Maria Katehis, @serra.ataman @itstinystudios @p_rowecreation @atinybitofcelia @f_ourmamas @moodymonth @millimetremakes @maybreyprecisioncastings @emilyjayneshoots @raziajukesphoto 🙏🏾 Thank you to everyone who has engaged with, written about, shared or spent time with this piece. Seeing the impact Mother Vérité has had in such a short space of time has been profoundly affirming, and it means so much to know it’s contributing to a broader cultural shift in how we understand, honour and speak about this significant chapter in a woman’s life. A year of ambitious public work, collective care, and moments that remind me why visibility matters 🥰

Filling the city with poetry, WHAT A DREAM! ✨ @eustontown has commissioned @mtartagency and artist @robertmontgomeryghost for a new lighting installation along Somers Town’s Chalton Street in collaboration with The People’s Museum Somers Town @aspaceforusnow . A series of five projectors illuminate the walls and pavements with poetry developed in workshops with the local community, with further installations due in 2026. The poetry is rooted in pertinent local issues; particularly the area’s radical heritage and the emotions that have been stirred by the changing nature of an area much loved by its community.  Poetry in Lights is a unique representation of a community’s experience, perfectly suited to a neighbourhood as fascinating and unusual as Somers Town. This community is the very meaning of resistance and its personality continues to shine through all the changes that are happening on every side. Thank you for trusting us @pitkeathley . Ten years today that you gave us the special key of our very first office in Camden, @cmdncollective . Forever our first family at MTArt Agency. Mega well done to our super public art director @serra.ataman & Maria Katehis our super, the fab team at Euston Town BID @its.georgiestreet @eve_gilmour and the People Museum’s amazing Diana Foster. 🥂 Happy New Year from our team, artists and collaborators to you. We are so looking forward to 2025 together! From our CEO, Marine Tanguy: ‘What an incredible 2024. In a very difficult market, we continued to grow, we were profitable and hired new senior team members. A warm welcome to both James and Stuart! This year has been one of our strongest financial years to date, enabling us to provide even more opportunities to artists. I look forward to continuing our expansion in the USA and the Middle East and I am eager to share an exciting financial update over the coming weeks. As always, while I report numbers and it is my job to do so, that’s not why we get out of bed as a team. I am so proud that our business shows that artists can be better supported, that the art world can be better integrated within our visual sector at large and welcome so many new audiences. As a B Corp, I am excited to continue to prove that this is possible while maintaining high sustainable and social standards. So pleased to announce that our artist Jesu Moratiel will be presenting his interactive installation ‘Scroll’ at SXSW London from 1 to 6 June, as part of the artistic program led by @moorewarhol . This new work takes the Spotify interface, something we mindlessly scroll through every day, and turns it into something three dimensional with volume and texture that responds to you in real time. Instead of tapping a flat screen to pick a song, you navigate a virtual body and the relationship between you and the interface shifts from passive consumption to something physical and instinctive. It comes from that feeling in a club when music stops being something you hear and becomes something your whole body is doing 🎶

A glimpse behind the scenes as What Blooms Beneath by @hanna_benihoud_studio comes to life at @boroughyards 🍄 It’s been so special watching these ‘blooms’ slowly appear across the arches, tunnels and passageways, changing how the space feels as you move through it. As you’ll hear in this video, which also features Marine Tanguy (@mtartagency ) and Steve Wylie (@wyliewood.ltd ), I’ve always been interested in creating those small, unexpected moments in the city that spark a sense of wonder. Inspired by fungi and what grows beneath our feet, the works weave through the architecture in a trail, each one leading you to the next. Each piece is hand‑woven in crin, giving them a soft, shifting presence in the space. So grateful to Curate Real Estate and @mtartagency for making this happen! 🍄 What Blooms Beneath 📅 Until July 2026 📍 Borough Yards, London 🎟️ Free to visit Video/Photos: @mystery.rich ; PA Media/Jack Hall

Ritual, mythology, archaeology and contemporary femininity converge within the immersive practice of Rafaela de Ascanio. In this in-depth conversation with The Flux Review, De Ascanio discusses the origins of her interdisciplinary approach across painting, ceramics and installation, exploring sacred space, female archetypes, folklore, science fiction and the evolving narratives that continue to shape her work today. The interview also reflects on her recent solo exhibition at Sketch in Mayfair, where sculpture, wallpaper and painting merged into a fully immersive environment charged with atmosphere and symbolism. What blooms beneath: artist @hanna_benihoud_studio takes over @boroughyards with a new installation! The artwork winds its way through the neighbourhood, encouraging visitors to slow down, look up, look around and follow the trail. What Blooms Beneath is designed to be discovered. A series of sculptural works, described by the artist as ‘blooms’ are dotted across Borough Yards, forming a loose breadcrumb trail with standout pieces at key entrances. Spot one, and you’ll likely see the next - a gentle nudge to keep exploring a little further. Each piece is made from crin, a mesh-like, weatherproof fabric more commonly used in millinery than large-scale outdoor art. Benihoud and a team of weavers spent weeks making the works, collectively putting over 200 hours of weaving. The finished pieces are translucent and softly structured, shifting in colour from light cream through to pinks and deep burgundies, catching the light as they weave through the site. Benihoud, who trained as an architect before setting up her studio in North London, is known for making work that responds directly to place. For her, Borough Yards isn’t a backdrop but something to work with: the bricks, arches and passageways shaping how the artwork looks, feels and moves. Announcing our second artist showing at the Venice Biennale, this time at the new Ibiza pavilion - our artist Noëmi Manser is presenting Tabula Rasa #2 at the Ibiza Pavilion, a collaboration with Margherita Chiarva that was born through dreams, symbolic acts, and lived ritual. The work was produced in Ibiza through an ongoing process of listening to dreams, analysing their symbols, translating them into actions, and documenting everything as it unfolded, and what remains is the essence of lived experience condensed into image, gesture, and symbol. They will be showing gelatin silver prints alongside ceramic forms centred around the symbol of the egg, an image of origin, potential, fertility, and becoming, and the project unfolds as both installation and live activation, with the artists stitching dream symbols and posed questions into a tablecloth that becomes a shared surface for communication, memory, and transformation. The pavilion runs May 7 to 9 at Pizza Al Volo in Campo Santa Margherita, alongside artists Maria Giulia Alvigini, COSIMA, Beatrice Dettori, Liz Kueneke, Margherita Chiarva, and Rachel Weschke. If you are in Venice this week, it is not one to miss.🥚

Recently, we gathered with @david__aiu , hearing the stories behind his work and a glimpse into the artist’s mind. HO–RI–ZON unfolds across three panels, shaped by landscape, light, and stillness. Take a moment to pause and take it in, now in our lobby.
