Our subsidised offices don’t just house incredible businesses, they directly support our free hot-desking. For 17 years, we’ve been bringing empty spaces in Camden Town back to life and transforming them into DIY, creative spaces to support emerging and growing business. We've ran pop-ups and festivals, occupied unusual spaces like a hospital and now a Victorian primary school! Throughout the years, our model evolves - but our community is always at the centre.

The completed pieces from all participating designers will be auctioned in support of @camdengiving on the 20th of September, who will channel the proceeds into community-led environmental projects through their pioneering Youth Futures programme, and @propupproject , a CIC dedicated to recycling materials from the film and TV industry back into local communities.

Camden Inspire: Green Loop Takeover will take place in Camden Collective, meanwhile-use co-working initiative founded by Camden Town Unlimited in the heart of Camden Town, just off the newly-pedestrianised high street.
@cmdncollective makes use of what’s already here, partnering with landlords of empty buildings to offer free or subsidised workspace. Creative startups, climate innovators, and grassroots changemakers use the spaces to work, test ideas, and build something new. @cmdncollective is a living example of how we can make better use of what we already have, reimagining disused space and putting resources back into the hands of the local community.
Our current two buildings are located in a former auction house and an old primary school owned by @transportforlondon . These spaces give emerging, purpose-driven businesses the opportunity to put down roots in Camden Town, bringing their creative spirit and climate solutions to our neighbourhood.
On Saturday 20 September, we’re opening the doors of Camden Collective for the festival and we can’t wait to introduce you to our community!
