Somehow managed to wrangle myself an electric G-line from the good people at @bromptonbicycle I can now officially confirm: 1- @annehidalgo is a queen 2 - The G-Line was obviously named after me 🚴🏽‍♀️ we go together too well for any other explanation 3 - There is still no bike I don't break (just a little bit) when I test ride it I truly cannot recommend this route enough. Not only the greeniest greens I've ever experienced in Paris - never have I ever had so many wonderful convos and laughs with the good people of Paris along one joyful route - 20/10 would recommend. New Work❕ A milestone moment in our project to co-create an e-cycle service for (&with) the Willow Park community in Aylsham. It's easy for us to share positive snaps and stories from our events and activations, but there's a whole lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. A major focus of #LoudMobility is to push forward research and innovation in sustainable transport. This partnership with @norfolkcc , @a_to_better , @peddlemywheels and @norfolk_electric_adventure provided the opportunity to explore how a hyper local and community led e-cycle service could help reduce car dependency in peri-urban and rural communities. Making use of Section 106 funding this project has now completed the research and development phase, shaping the service design with insights from the community alongside our key partners. Months of work have been written up in this detailed report, setting out the evidence base of the service design and ambitions in delivering the service this year. 🎉 £250,000 more from Lime to help under-represented Londoners cycle On top of the £100,000 already committed to community cycling projects in London, @lime invest a further £250,000 to spread the joy of cycling with the #ShareTheJoy fund. Share the Joy provides vital funding to grassroots community cycle groups. Some who’ve already benefited are… ⭐@wheelsforwellbeing - disability cycling champions ⭐@cyclesistersuk - helping Muslim women to cycle ⭐@upcycleldn_ - bike repair workshops and cycling lessons for disadvantaged kids & many more… Check out our website for how to apply for grants of £2500 (reopens next week) including a FREE Q&A session on 12 February for top tips for your application. 💚 Almost HALF of Londoners aged 18-34 say they hire a rental e-bike at least once a week.
