After testing the Megamo Reason we said it would be even better with a Fox 38 fork, instead of the 36, and that it needed tougher casing tyres as standard.
Well, Megamo has answered. And in addition to the beefy new Fox 38 fork and Double Down casing Maxxis tyres, the Reason gets longer dropper posts on all sizes and comes with the new Avinox M2S motor, paired with the 800Wh internal battery. Now with fast charging. Bonus!
Megamo has also added an XL frame size for taller riders and there are a bunch of cool new frame colours too.
Taken together, the updates make this 160mm travel 29er more capable than ever.

The new Fox 38 fork with the Glidecore air-spring, updated GRIP X2 damper and generatively designed lower legs is easier to set up than ever.
For sag, simply take your body weight in kilograms and that’s your spring pressure in psi. Obviously this is just a baseline, but it’s a great starting point.

Check out this from @megamobikes_nl , the Reason CRB 02. It’s a fully tricked out @srammtb equipped build, with the latest @avinoxebike M2S motor system.
I’m sure your all aware of the motors headline grabbing figures, but to be honest it was its smoothness and natural feeling at lower power and its low weight that impressed me the most, it’s also super easy to use and fine tune to how you want it. That paired with the CRB 02’s sorted geo and stiff chassis should make for a fantastic trail emtb.
Now ill obviously not be going as fast as their pro emtb enduro rider @kevin.miquel , but ill hopefully get a chance to try one on my local trails soon.
