✨ When imagination takes root, action follows.
These stories trace the spark - from handmade flags and reimagined democracy to communities that create before they’re asked to. Together, they remind us: the future is something we build, not wait for. 🌍💚
🏃🏻♀️ Kirsty - Green Runners
Kirsty made an INCREDIBLE flag for The Green Runners - crafted from discarded festival and corporate event fabrics, transforming waste into bold, joyful installations. So amazing! 💚
🎙️ Ellie + Caroline + Jon - How to Save Democracy
Ellie joined Jon and Caroline Lucas at The Conduit for a conversation about nothing less than the future of democracy.
🪜 How can we respond as citizens when governments aren’t stepping up? 🏄♀️ Is ACTionism too quiet, or quietly powerful? 🪸 How can collective action stay realistic when people are already stretched thin?
Some big, chewy questions! Ellie championed ACTionism as a way to bring people together through joy, reimagination, and deeper collaboration - doing, without waiting for permission. 🌌
🎿 ReSki - Reclaiming the Outdoors, Together
What if outdoor gear didn’t come from a boardroom, but from a repair café? 🧵
What if disabled athletes weren’t just consulted, but led the design? ⛷️
ReSki is what happens when community builders, designers, local makers, and adaptive skiers come together - not to tweak the system, but to rebuild it.
Born from the ACTionism Weekender, Alice, Mike, Sarisher, and Gav are transforming discarded ski gear into adaptive sit-ski garments - co-designed, tested, and made by the people who use them. 🏔️
Together with repair cafés, adaptive ski schools, and local makers, they’re showing what shared power looks like. 💙
Next stop: Cortina 2026 - the Winter Paralympics! ❄️
