Examining topics around self-care, well-being, and mental health, we follow statements that ring out as a background to a personal journey of one’s sense of self.
Armed with curiosity, peace, and acknowledgement, she leaps through the vast expanse of Ilkley Moor to establish her place in a rapidly expanding and saturated world. Through voyeuristic camera angles and a voiceover to resemble a swarm of thoughts in one’s head, “Elation” crosses a boundary from child to young woman, bringing its viewers on a journey of change as an essential element of life. “Elation” fuses elements of naive carelessness and maturing confidence to arrive at a candid exploration of uncertainty as a prerequisite for growth.
