HYDRA Portraits is an ongoing series that examines portraiture as a method for mapping symbolic and relational genealogies.
The project focuses on mentors, muses, mothers, collaborators, and figures of influence whose presence has informed my development as an artist. The HYDRA wearable artefacts and spatial environments function as visual symbols of gratitude and care.
Each photographic portrait serves as the starting point for a wider body of work that extends into storytelling and speculative image-making.
