This project gave me the most extraordinary experience I’ve ever had in New York - days were spent visiting the
LOK instructors’ homes with
@monicapierini and
@lisakyunggross , documenting cooking techniques from Mexico, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Ukraine, Greece, Afghanistan, India, Argentina, Japan, Uzbekistan, Lebanon, Iran, and Nepal. We visited a few of the instructors’ favorite markets throughout the boroughs, concluding the whole shoot with a potluck in Central Park.
