My new studio album, 𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, is now out everywhere IN FULL 🧡 🤸 🥰 This is such a special day for me 🥲 I had to do a lot of growing to write this one, a piece of that is now yours to keep. This record is written as a reminder to the self, on the ever-present nature of delight. It is a reminder to the self to firmly reject existence without it. 𝘿𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 can now be heard on all streaming platforms, and of course, you can get yourself a vinyl or cassette (shipping now, link in usual spot ! ). I’m grateful to all the contributors, big big hug & congratulations to you all today. My album campaign has been only love, i’m humbled & glowing, and it just keeps getting better … thank you 🥹 // Credits // Songwriting, Composition, Arrangement, Production, Creative Direction: Arushi Jain @modularprincess Mix: Christopher Botta @christopherbotta Master: Daddy Kev @daddykev Design and Layout: John Sampson @john.sampson Photography and Image Creative Direction: Zara Saraon @zarasaraon Session Musicians: Ria Modak @ria_modak , MIZU @iammizu__ , Payton MacDonald @payton.macdonald.music , Annie Wu @_annie_wu_ , Samuel Newsome Lyrics: Arushi Jain, Eugenia Puglisi @___.eugenia , Sunil Rao Writing Support: Alka Nath @alks_._ , Avarna Jain @varnakya , Carly Lave @carlylave__ , Saguna Goel @sagunaduck My biggest warmest love and thank you to Trijeet Mukhopadhyay @trijeetm , Emma Villeneuve @emmadekv & Alka Nath @alks_._ And finally, Leaving Records @leavingrecords / @matthewdavidmcq / @divainparadise , my gratitude to you is so immense, you’ve given my work a home and for that, Ilysm 💓

As the year draws to a close, I’m reminded of something that often slips my mind: I released an album in March. Nine months feels so long ago — the record feels like a past version of me, embodied once but now, in parts, moved further from. As I listen back to the music, I’m reminded of my obsession — Delight in the practice of pursuit — an explicit commitment to helm our sensorial practices in the present. As I look at the imagery, I’m reminded of motifs — Water — cleanses, recharges, releases — a shower, a glass to drink, a tear — representing quiet rituals that shred our debris, our hazards of labour, collected while excavating day in & out. Water which enables us to enter our playgrounds everyday, afresh. My thanks to @leavingrecords @matthewdavidmcq @daddykev @christopherbotta @zarasaraon john sampson for their contributions on Delight 🫶🏽

Arushi Jain: No Way Back (for Pauline Oliveros) No Way Back is composed in Raga Bhairav, traditionally performed in the early morning hours between 6 and 9 a.m. For me, this raga embodies a devotion to stillness and knowledge—a quiet, attentive focus and clarity at the threshold of the day. For Oliveros, the voice is inseparable from listening, and made me want to explore the human voice as vibration with sustained notes, glides, non-verbal phrases, and repetition. The modular synthesizer dances around the voice in space, providing the listener the chance to exercise deep listening in real time, embodying the objective simplicity yet philosophical grandiosity of the practice. Released as a part of a Pioneers compilation featuring Loraine James, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, rRoxymore & Leila Adu, Holland Andrews & yuniya edi kwon, TAAHLIAH, Hinako Omori, Kate Simko & Lara Somogyi, JLin, Laurel Halo, AFRODEUTSCHE on Mercury KX. You can stream it everywhere!

Arushi Jain - No Way Back. In Raga Bhairav, written in ode to Pauline Oliveros and her endless curiosity. Released as a part of a Pioneers compilation featuring Loraine James, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, rRoxymore & Leila Adu, Holland Andrews & yuniya edi kwon, TAAHLIAH, Hinako Omori, Kate Simko & Lara Somogyi, JLin, Laurel Halo, AFRODEUTSCHE on Mercury KX. Pauline Oliveros’s life feels akin to mine — as someone who began writing music in my early twenties while living in San Francisco. I was drawn then, as I still am now, to electronics and synthesizers, to computer music, to Indian classical music, and to the many spaces—literal, philosophical, spiritual—that exist between frequencies.

technowruz returns for its eighth New Years celebration. Under the shadow of the escalating war on Iran and the ongoing internet blackouts, we're shifting from our usual club night to a music-focused community gathering, a place to be together in the sound as we move through however we’re feeling. Proceeds will be distributed on the ground in Iran through trusted community networks. The night opens with a hardware set from @googooshdolls , followed by a hybrid set from @8ulentina and DJ sets from Hamadi (@moohamed.eltagoouri ), Arushi Jain (@modularprincess ), and @kamran_sadeghi_official . Their sets will lean toward ambient, atmospheric, and traditional music, creating a space to meditate, talk, move gently, and connect in ambient solidarity. Instead of our customary diaspora bazaar, the bar will host a community-sourced art installation that offers space to reflect on the resilience of the Iranian people in the face of extreme repression. As always, there will be ample snacks, sweets, and tea, plus lots of comfortable places to sit, craft supplies, and tabling from local organizations. A 3,000-year-old tradition, Nowruz ushers in a season of rebirth. It is celebrated on the spring equinox by over 300 million people worldwide, including ethnic groups across present-day Afghanistan, Iran, Kurdistan, Turkmenistan, and elsewhere. Transcending borders and cultures, often in defiance of state proscription, observance of Nowruz is an expression of hope and renewal after a long, dark winter. /// 🎟️ Tickets are available on Resident Advisor via the link in our Linktree.

GHUNGHRU x NTS 📻 is now archived :) 2.25.2026 / 10 am EST Soundtrack to the first blizzard of my life - unhurried, a little haunted, melancholic - hazy electronics dissolve into Iranian classical, post-rock, and slow sped idm — kamancheh, setar, and vocal improvisation from Homayoun Shajarian, Kayhan Kalhor, and Hossein Alizâdeh, sitting alongside Indian classical-influenced electronics by me and Meitei’s Japanese minimalism. elsewhere: upsammy’s glitchy textures, Priori and Laurel Halo’s hazy drift, Bendik Giske’s looping saxophone, Mogwai’s brief rock surge, and the fragile bedroom intimacy of Miserable and Wist. 📸 @rrheakapurr listen on www.nts.live @nts_radio @ghunghrusounds

18 live sets, 12 NTS shows, 11 sublets in 4 countries, wrote 4 hours of music, released nothing, finished barely any songs but its OK, i’m OK. Some years are for research. My tour highlights were playing Dripping, Glastonbury & Sustain Release cuz my friends were there :) My fav solo show was at ALICE in Copenhagen. Much time writing and in reflection, crying, running, composing…, realizing that this type of life is inherently solo, but I do not need to be lonely!
