Classically trained and grounded in the technical side of sound, Abby moves from circuits to studio, decks, and stage, shaping somethang exploratory, immersive, and escapist… outside the function, U might’ve caught her rockin’ synths with a lil Brooklyn band called LCD Soundsystem. –––– @abbyechiverri is a Brooklyn-based producer whose intense curiosity has led her across roles as a touring musician, sound engineer, DJ, and VJ. Her releases include her debut EP Ab Initio on @thebunkerny , as well as work on @acidcamp , @patterns_of_perception ,@going_in_listening , and self-releases. Classically trained in violin, flute, piano, and singing, she later moved to NYC to study recording engineering, perform in post-punk bands, and become a regular at Wierd and The Bunker. Echiverri has since devoted her professional hours to engineering and manufacturing audio equipment for studios and clubs worldwide, an intimacy with technology that comes through in her music, where left-field influences, hardware manipulation, and unconventional processing shape an inventive, immersive sound. Today, she plays synths with @lcdsoundsystem and DJs her show, Tonal Fiction, on @thelotradio .

PS // 2 revisit, their Softee set can be found on moi’s SoundCloud. –––– Pure Immanence is the collaborative conceptual DJ project of @nmb2115 and @therealtiesto . Their sets activate a sonic plane that moves across techno, ambient, house, trance, progressive, and experimental zones, evoking shifting atmospheres and states of perception. Rooted in a shared exploration of sound as a gateway to psychedelic intensity and collective experience, their approach centers on the affective potential of listening and dancing together. Based in New York’s underground, they’ve held a long-running residency at @bossanovacivicclub since 2016 and were closely tied to the Unter collective, contributing as both residents and curators. Their work has extended to revered spaces and festivals worldwide, including Sustain-Release, @fourthworldnyc , and @whole.festival .

If you know, you know… and if you don’t, now’s the time. –––– Texas-born and Brooklyn-based, Henry Chow has spent nearly three decades embedded in the underground, moving dance floors with raw, mood-driven techno and house. A lifelong crate digger, his sound leans into tension, groove, and restraint. In the early ’00s, he co-founded Crossroads, one of Houston’s longest-running techno/house events. Since relocating to New York, he has become a staple in the city’s underground.

Keeping it funky, fresh, and eclectic, @esca.fl0wne is a low-key New Yawk secret that’ll keep you locked and loaded once you fall into his groove. –––– Escaflowne is a Brooklyn-based DJ and producer with roots in the Bay Area and Austin, known for a fluid and genre-blurring approach to club music. Drawing across house, UK garage, techno, electro, jungle, and beyond, his sound moves freely while staying locked into groove. With releases on @hausofaltr , @fixed_rhythms , @sorry_records , @its_allergy_season , and @jukebouncewerk , alongside a deep self-released Bandcamp catalog, his output reflects a wide-ranging and restless sonic curiosity. As a DJ, Escaflowne shifts seamlessly between tempos and moods, crafting sets that feel both expansive and tightly controlled.

Well if it isn’t the lil Softee Sweetheart himself… a music encyclopedia with an insatiable appetite for wax. He’ll have U deep in the Softee sea before U even realize U can’t swim. 🐡 –––– An increasingly established voice in New York’s nightlife, @sammyeff_ is a promoter and artist whose interests are deeply intertwined with the underground. As the voice of @outerorbit.records and a core mind behind Mizz Softee, the diversity of his tastes is reflected in the talent recruited for any events he’s involved in, ranging from classic house and techno to emerging sounds from outer regions and healthy doses of authentic New York afterhours grit. A digger par excellence, Sam’s selections change with his surroundings to slot in with his invitees or flow to their own wayward conclusions, often evading strict genre to revel in groove and atmosphere through deep house, techno, ultramodern breakbeats, wave, disco, vintage tech house, early trance, and leftfield picks.

I just fell in love for the 69th time. –––– DJ, producer, and antidisciplinary artist @morenxx_x – also known as Jesús Hilario Reyes – is a true enigmatic force exalted from Chicago’s underground. MORENXXX’s hypnotic sound ranges with rapturous percussion and ethereal intensity, weaving machinic grooves and infectious rhythms far above the genre battlegrounds, culminating in something otherworldly and entirely their own. Tectonic, boundless, and undeniable, MORENXXX blends the contemporary and the timeless with cyclonic fluidity; their cunning prowess invigorates dancers to riotous peaks, bringing out something primordial yet contemplative.

I got a taste of the Ice Cream Man last year… and now he’s back for more, because once U pop, U really can’t stop. 🍦 – Hailing from Holland’s west coast, @jeans.no.denim is a powerhouse behind the decks, known for his free-flowing style and instinct for commandeer the dance floor with his characteristic free-flowing style, pushing sonic buttons beyond outer planetary limits. Nobody’s safe from the ‘Ice Cream Man’ when he gets going like an unstoppable train laying down face-melting tekno bangers, breakbeat filth, transcendental techno, hints of trance and anything else that gets the job done. However, don’t be fooled by his mischievous smile because he’s got a tender side too and when you least expect it, he will drop some cosmic ambient or laid-back dub reggae on you and it will be exactly what you need at that moment. Emerging from The Hague’s hardcore and jungle scenes, with a deep love for raw ’90s hip hop, Memphis rap, dub, and raggamuffin, JEANS carries that foundation into every set. Now a resident at Het Magazijn, former head booker at @pipdenhaag , and founder of @oracle_bones_records , he’s built a reputation for pushing limits and keeping crowds on their toes.
