Contours brings together New York–based producers and DJs Abby Echiverri and Clay Wilson for a four-track 12” on Acid Camp Records. The record moves across acid house and techno, unified by a clear craft for pressure, pacing, and machine-driven tracks, with moments of restraint that hold up far beyond the dancefloor. Wilson opens the A-side with “Interdimensional Romance,” a science fiction workout that threads together acid echoes of Chicago, Detroit, and New York. “Nightride” follows with a more laid-back approach, rooted in acid yet softer around the edges, with a subtle ’90s pull. On the B-side, Echiverri’s panned synths on “Chaos Terrain” vividly wax and wane across layers of LFOs. “Roche Lobe” closes the record in a more spacious mood—another acid-minded piece, less aimed at peak-time utility than at the late-night afterglow of the club. Together, the four tracks understand acid not as a fixed formula, but as a flexible language. These are the songs of the underground clubs on Arrakis. See you at the front of the speakers. Happy to be the 169th contribution to the wonderful Acid Camp mix series! 🪄 I've admired this label and series for years now - and finally put together a set after collecting what I think to be interesting 303 tracks over my journey of musical hunting. I love that deep delayed and also squelchin sharp resonant type-a acieed. Ear candy! Acid / 303 Bassline embodies both a playful and hypnotic spirit. Two qualities I think engage and light up a dance floor. In this mix I tried to strike a balance between tracks with interesting sound design, midwest flavoured techno groove and wacked out acid lines mixed in! 💫👾 It's one that slowly sucks you in and ends up in a frenzy ! 🌀🌀 Enjoy the mix and shop their label! Gratitude to @acidcamp for the opportunity. <Scroll for previews>

This mix is a live recording of my all vinyl, early afternoon set on the third and final day of Gradient Campout 2025. Gradient, a joint effort between New Palm and Printshop, is an annual DIY campout that takes place in late April in the high deserts of Southern California. It’s an excerpt from a 3 hour stretch of music that kicked the day off, with New Palm’s label head Spillman starting with an experimental set, leading into a b2b ambient section by the both of us, and finally into what you’ll hear in this mix. Gradient is a special place for me and all those involved, as it grew organically over the years from a gathering of like-minded friends, with a DIY-ethos at its core. Last year was particularly inspiring, as Gradient fully blossomed into what we hope to continue to build on. Gradient 2026 will take place on April 24-26, and I cannot wait! Tracklist : Lowtec - B1 (Workshop LD7) Tase - Come Back Linkwood - Coral Jon Doppler - Ciphertext Simic - Orbetello Kassem Mosse - A1 (Workshop 08) Felix Hk - Pyrenees Termiten - Nordhorn Kassem Mosse - Galaxy Series 5 STL - Ghostdrive RDMA - Rethink Skookum - Knees (Multipara Version) Brendon Moeller - Sitting Duck Progetto Tribale, Donato Dozzy - Vu Rhythm DJ Sotofett - Tribute To “Sore Fingers” Phil Kieran - Find Love (Andrew Weatherall Remix) Seung L is a Korean-born, US-raised house dancer and vinyl DJ with an ear for atmosphere and heady grooves. Having spent his formative years in LA’s warehouse scene in the 2000s, he has an equal affinity for house, techno, and ambient music, a breadth that informs his digging and mixing to this day. Seung is a cofounding member of the LA label & event series New Palm and a core member of Gradient Campout.

honored to debut a new video by Frank Pollard. Frank is one of my favorite physical media artists, and his miniature work here is exceptional. in a day where ai imagery slop is becoming more of a crutch than a tool, Frank’s miniature work is something to behold. audio is Same Format, one of the few ambient tracks Dan Jugel and i wrote and released (at least as Dar Embarks), from our 12" Let’s Do Our Own Thing on the awesome Acid Camp. the first minute of the video is here — check out the rest on youtube at the link in bio. #bandcampfriday

🌀 Introducing our lineup for next Friday! More about the artists and set times : Upward Spiral 🌪️ Opening the Portal D. Hall • 9-10p @dizzydylanpdx began his journey in rock bands before finding a deeper home on the underground dance floor. A longtime patron of the scene, he now steps behind the decks, bringing that same passion and instinct for the room into his DJ sets. Más o Menos • 10-11:30p @djmasomenos Paola De La Cruz (aka @happynappystudio / más o menos) is a Dominican American visual artist and DJ bringing Afro-Caribbean and Latin sounds layered with ghetto tech grit. Her sets blend dembow, Latin house, and memory-triggering classics into something sweaty, unapologetic, and built for the dance floor—driven by a mission to bring authentic Dominican music to the PNW. C Powers • 11:30p-1a @cpowers_ms_mix Her sound draws from years spent collecting records in Atlanta and Chicago, honing crowd control in London clubs, fostering queer dance spaces, and performing with House of Gunt in Savannah and at solidarity dance nights in Portland. Her sets blend gay camp, anti-sophistication, and extended turntable technique with a sharp sense of juxtaposition. Alongside DJing, Cecilia has been active in anti-displacement organizing, exploring how sound can be used as a tool for disruption and collective action. Aaron Davis • 1-2:30a @acidcamp Is a DJ, promoter, and the mind behind Acid Camp, a podcast series, party, and record label rooted in discovering new perspectives through dance music. Known for curating immersive gatherings and dynamic sets, his sound moves fluidly from late-night acid and atmospheric techno to sunrise house and disco, always chasing that feeling of paradise on the dance floor. Othrwrld • 2:30-4a @othr_wrld is a trans performance artist, producer, and DJ— a self-described aural apothecary crafting immersive, utopian sound journeys. Blending ambient techno, trance, bass, breaks, and slambient textures, her work explores trans-futuristic sound. Based in Portland since 2017, she’s deeply connected to the local queer underground and founded the techno series Club Liminal in 2023. 🌀

Follow @djhouseplants 🙏 Currently on his “Let Nature Nurture” Asia Tour, DJ Houseplants centers his concept of “Nurturing Bioacoustics” & conservation in all of the music he creates. With his natural affinity for all living systems, he loves to bring his signature sound of lush, hypnotic locked grooves to the dance floor. Inspired by my recent travels to Vietnam, this is an audio diary entry dedicated to the late acidic-drenched hours I spent cruising humid Saigon via moped. Waves of motorbikes moving through the streets like schools of anchovies, city lights illuminate and our minds melted, continue to hallucinate. S/o to Naymai Studio (Ý, Tan, & Bia) and Jellyfish (Hai & Nguyen) <3 Theo Walbeck, Freek Tool – This one reminds me of my adolescences, riding around with my uncle Vanda in his lowered Toyota pick up, with Jodeci on repeat. Fellows, Flight 2 Night – Heard this one for the first time when my friend David Beltran from feeltrip records played it at the Clipper in Chicago, big love.

This techno-leaning mix traces a journey that began on Halloween Day when I broke my phone and found myself moving through fear, frustration, and ultimately gratitude. This vinyl–digital hybrid session was stitched together with intention and a little chaos. The first half leans into the mood of the day—haunting textures, shadow-heavy percussion, and a kind of horror-cinematic tension. By the time you hit the halfway mark, the mix mutates: the 303s start screaming and what began as fear transforms into release. This mix includes Jenifa Mayanja, Titonton Duvanté, Underground Resistance, Boo Williams, Houz’Mon, K-Hand, and others who embody the continuum of Black dance music. This mix exemplifies the ways sound holds us through days that try to break us. Hope you feel it. Xoxo, NAYGOD
