Folks, if you’ve been around half as long as we have, you probably have an idea what to expect from this point. But before this timeline floods your retinas with visions of lifted tractors or 4am light therapy sessions or the various excesses of encased meat innovation, we’ll be putting a pause on all manner of assumed affectation to address the gravity of this particular moment in time.
As the resurgence of homegrown authoritarianism spreads across the country, and our tax dollars continue to aid and abet some of the most staggering acts of coordinated dehumanization imaginable in our time, we find ourselves returning to the birthday of both our nation and the little backyard BBQ that could, now with the clarity that only a decade of dancing around this date could provide.
There is a lot to be said about what we have learned and unlearned over this span of time, but right now, we would like to address the urgency of this moment and put our money where our mouth is.
We are pledging $4000 of ticketing revenue to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, Make The Road, and For The Gworls. If you aren’t familiar with these organizations, please check them out to see the vital work that they are doing (we have included some more info on them in our stories and up in the highlights as well). We will also be donating all of our merch profits to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, so please keep an eye out at the party for our little t-shirt stand.
Finally, we’ve signed onto the PACBI call and stand in support of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. In relation to this, we want to highlight the incredible work that has already been done by so many in regards to PACBI and the KKR boycott. The momentum it is seeing is truly inspiring.
These actions, coupled with Zohran’s landslide victory at the polls, have made the potential for genuine change and solidarity seem more tangible here in New York than ever before.
Putting people first will never go out of favor — let’s run with it. 🗽🌇🍎🥇🔜🌎🍉⛓️💥
Shirts are now available online and for pickup! All profits go to benefit Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. This year’s shirt was designed by a woman from the diaspora who wishes to remain anonymous, but lives close to the region. Hit the linktree for the shipping link, or DM for local pickup Bushwick if preferred.

Our pledged donations are in. We split over $4000 between:
🇵🇸 @thepcrf (Palestine Children’s Relief Fund)
🏡 @maketheroadny (Make the Road NY)
✨ @forthegworls (For The Gworls)
Big thanks to Andrew and the team over at @h0l0.nyc for trusting our vision and coordinating the payments on these and most other expenses.
As a small operation that has struggled to maintain solvency, we remain clear-eyed that our contributions in this sense are just drops in the ocean. Still, as a symbolic gesture on behalf of New York and the beating heart of its culture, we hope that these ones might ripple a little further than others. So please, if you have the means, consider donating more to these organizations, or others with shared goals.
Oh and t-shirts still available! All profits go to benefit The PCRF. Photo recap plus more tried n’ true ballyhoo coming shortly. As always, we thank you for your continued support. <3
Yes, the rumors are true, like a phoenix rising from a roaring grease fire, the

have returned 🌭🌭🔥🐦🔥🔥🌭 🌭
Despite our better judgement, we will be upholding this time honored / increasingly frowned upon tradition once more (although there are indeed veggie dogs too). They just dropped, and as always, it will be a first come, first serve kind of situation, but regardless, there will be gourmet food available all day and night of a markedly higher quality courtesy of @picklejuicenyc
Get here NOW if you want to indulge!
(2/2) Of course, it’s not always near-death experiences. Sometimes, the heavens shine down directly. Case in point: Saint @arca1000000 herself, descending upon us like an avant garde angel to bless us all with an impromptu B2B with our beloved WoC (@wordofcommand ). The only snag? She arrived without so much as a scrap of ID on her person, and security - ever vigilant - treated her like just another confused civilian with a vape pen and a dream.
Try as we might, there seemed to be no reasoning with the man despite her quite obviously being the guest of honor. That is until a discreet financial gesture was made 🤝💵, at which point he threw his chest out and proclaimed, with great ceremony:
“You see?? now THAT’S how you do business.”
Then came the show: fanning the bills out like a poker hand, peelin’ em back one by one, putting every $20 on parade while grinning ear to ear, all before smoothing the stack against his palm with the solemn satisfaction of a man who knew, deep in his bones, that he had shaken us down fair and square.
Well played, good sir, and yet, a small price to pay for a moment that will stay forever etched in our memory. And as the carousel suggests, she took to the stage, we beamed with pride, and with the melding of Danza Kuduro and the Persona 5 OST into one, history was made.
And so we stand before you today with these tales and bits of ephemera, not as warning, but as invitation: proof that when you buy a ticket to Fourth World, you are not merely attending an event, you are flirting with TRANSCENDENCE in this world built on memes, miracles, and the occasional meltdown.
As always, we ‘preciate your continued support. Lord knows we’ll need it come sun up tomorrow 😭🙏🌇
Folks, we do a whole lotta plannin’ down here at the ol’ Fourth World Operations Depot & Mercantile Exchange, but truth be told, the real magic of it all tends to hatch somewhere in between the margins of scheduling and sanity. Hell, you might even say we’ve become something of a magnet for things that tend to… defy easy explanation. Take last year, for example. Why, in all our years trawling the boulevard, we’ve never seen a venue of any sizable stature have to stop a show - let alone one scheduled tighter than a cornbread muffin in a toddler’s fist - on account of the entire electrical system being on the cusp of some kind of full-blown thermonuclear event.
But as soon as we were ushered down into that cramped basement utility room, y’know, of the
⚠️ Danger: High Voltage ⚠️ variety, and we were met with an elderly gentleman in grease-stained coveralls who was pointin’ at all sorts of meters and manifolds, goin’ a mile a minute in a language we couldn’t even begin to parse, boyyy, we knew we were in for somethin’ else.
And when our handy friend there finally opened the most sizable electrical box of em of all, revealing a whole backwoods tangle of frayed wire, melted tubing, and bubbling conduit, all fused together and pulsing like a Cronenberg critter in heat, we realized just how sideways things had gone. And while y’all were still languishing in the confines of the walled garden above, bellies full of complimentary meat byproduct and nary a care in this world, that same man looked us dead in the eyes, finger trained on whatever baked up catastrophe lie oozing before us, and uttered the only thing we had the wherewithal to understand:
“This… this very bad.”
And for a moment - just a moment - we did consider the possibility that we were all about to perish.
✨ clips from The Xtra Super Officially OFFICIAL™️ Fourth World Pregame Show! ✨
@__markusi__ , @sharusound linked up for a super fun B3B on @thelotradio this week, and it honestly felt like the start of something special. The whole time they were like, “how have we never met??” (especially since Markus has been rinsing their tracks forever 👀).
Lots of laughs, effortless blends, and that warm reminder of why the dance floor is everything.
Big love to The Lot Radio and Fourth World fam for having them.
🪩 Tomorrow they’re all back at it for @fourthworldnyc at @h0l0.nyc . Tickets in bio. Come catch a vibe.
See you there 💫
