it’s been a few months that I’ve been speaking about that specific thing design has, community. it can be generous and super large, or more shy, but still a place of sharing. in a moment when it’s all about the discussion of fashion eating design or taking its place, I hope that fashion will learn this lesson of having a more democratic and open community as we do. and I’m sure a few are already doing it this way, and I trust it will also help design to have more space and visibility, learn to work better, and to communicate with the rules of quality as fashion has taught us.
so the last love letter is to my energy, to my people, to my friends, to the ones who work for me and with me on projects, and specifically to my team. to the ones I support and am supported by! last but not least, a cheer to Signora Prada, she knows better!

third declaration is for @no_text_azienda , in particular to @alvinsonic (and @giorgiodisalvo , but he has already had a lot of attention and he doesn’t like it that much) for having helped me and PS to create something special, to have attracted attention and given visibility to my clients, because in the end we do everything for them! and to @motelcecil , who for 10 days was going around from installation to event, from the fair to parks, from showrooms to restaurants to celebrate the energy of the projects we work on! thanks to them, together with my PS team, but thanks most of all to my clients who trust me!
To wrap up a jam-packed Milan Design Week, we threw a party with Milan-based communication agency P:S (@ps.creativeagency ) at the home of its founder and creative director, Michela Pelizzari (@michipelizzari ). Along with marking the close of the week, this party saw the launch of Closet Karaoke, a project from ApartamentoTV that invited guests to pick their all-time favourite tunes, sing their hearts out, and, inevitably, get their groove on.
Go to the Stories section of our website to see a recap of the ApartamentoTV launch at Milan Design Week 2026. All of the ApartamentoTV videos from the week are coming soon to our YouTube channel!

Second love declaration goes to the projects I did NOT work on but would have loved to be part of because I appreciate them, I liked them, and most importantly, some of them were made by people I truly love!
I’m not defined by my job, but I’m defined by the people I love and who love me. I said one day during Salone to a really serious and nice lady.
so if I have to do a recap of this Salone, it will be about them.
first declaration of love is for him, @giorgiodisalvo . life with him around is definitely better. you laugh, you drink champagne, and in the end (if you are really lucky) you can also listen to music. thank you for putting order in my visual life. thank you for listening to my advices, and thank you for traveling with me sometimes yes, and sometimes no.
INTRODUCING: PILLOW TALK
Pillow Talk is one of four debut shows from ApartamentoTV, our new video channel launching during this Milan Design Week! For the first episode, we asked members of the Apartamento community to grab a seat on the Muller Van Severen (@mullervanseveren ) Pillow Sofa for some pillow talk (of the more innocent variety)—reflecting on what rest, relaxation, and comfort means to them.
Come check out our Muller Van Severen exhibition ‘Silhouettes: Celebrating 15 Years’ and the latest iteration of the Apartamento Bookshop, housed in the same exhibition space. Both are open everyday from 10am to 8pm during Milan Design Week 2026!

It’s the final day of the third edition of @matterandshape , a project that has pushed a new definition of what an event of this kind, a design fair, can be.
A good project comes with a great secret: that spice or culinary trick that brings out the flavors in a dish.
For me, MATTER and SHAPE is a representation of community. The feeling of being part of a community is something intangible, but real, just as Sissel Tolaas reminds us every day.
It’s something you can’t see unless you come. It’s something you can’t feel unless you’re part of it. It’s something you can’t fully understand through an article or a story.
It’s about the people exhibiting, the stories they bring, and the people onsite telling the stories of the teams whose voices are represented in the products showcased. It’s about each new visitor and each returning one. It’s about the community of brands present at the shop and ready to be discovered, and the media partners who understand the power of being present within a meaningful project like this.
It’s about every exhibition and event connected to the fair through the hors-les-murs program, about the ones that from the first year believed in it, supported with generosity, and put in their name to stand with us. It’s about the people who come for a coffee and linger outside, those who stop by for lunch or dinner at the restaurant pop-up, the ones interacting with the sculptures between the two pavilions, and everyone who arrives with a curious mind.
I want to celebrate this feeling and remember everything you can experience when you are here, because once the event is over, it’s impossible to fully show what it was. What remains real is the energy that all of us take home.
It’s also about the projects that are born between the people who meet here and that continue this community beyond these days.
Thank you to my team, the MATTER and SHAPE and WSN teams, to Mattheiu Pinet and Dan Thawley, and to everyone involved this year and in past editions for making this such a memorable event once again.
Salone 2026 is approaching, and we’re opening the season with a new identity by @giorgiodisalvo and @no_text_azienda . At its center is the keyhole - a frame for curated access to the best of design and culture, and a reminder that access always carries a measure of discretion.
Our ambition is to make the work we support visible, while preserving the charge of what remains just out of sight.
This year, our dates are 18 - 26 April, with Art Week beginning the weekend prior and Sunday the 19th already dense with activity. If you haven’t seen our first communication, please check your inbox (and your spam folder).
Invites will be shared via our WhatsApp broadcast - register at salone.p-s.it and follow the instructions - and you can join our Instagram broadcast, P:S Now, through the link in bio for daily updates throughout the week.
See you soon!
