Gonna be heading out to the UK for a few choice gigs in London and Ireland! eternally grateful to be able to do this thing anywhere outside of Detroit/USA. Friday, May 1st - @om__ldn , holding it down all night for the opening of a @soundsignature takeover Sunday, May 3rd - the Barbican gig with @2000black x @soundsignature is not to be missed. this one is a family affair hosted by @touching_bass . can't wait to hear the #SweetChariot project played live by some of London's best, along with our Detroit staples. Tuesday, May 5th - gonna be on @nts_radio live in the studio for a couple hours (also happens to be my birthday 🎂 lol) Saturday, May 9th - me and the @soundsignature crew are heading up to Cork, Ireland for an all day event through @rorysbirthdayparty x @savoycork , also not to be missed!!! @ideeyah.supreme and i will be performing #SweetChariot again, and i'll also be playing a set later on during the evening looking forward to spending some time out that way, and DEFINITELY gonna be comin correct on the turntables. mad love to everyone that's still rockin with me....you know who you are. shoutout to @crownruler and @jimi_dawg for the assist on all the dates!!!

1 year of Sweet Chariot. What started as a feeling—quiet, strong, and full of questions—became something we’ve had the privilege of sharing with so many of you. Over this past year, these songs traveled through spaces across the world, and each time, they’ve taken on new meaning because of the people listening. Thank you to everyone who embraced this work, who sat with it, who spun it, who was curious about it, who felt it, who still feels it, who found their own reflections inside of it. This album has never just belonged to us. Deep gratitude to @soundsignature —for seeing the vision with us, and for knowing what Sweet Chariot is, not just believing in it. I’m thrilled to announce episode 78 of There Is No Planet Earth mix series featuring a stunning mix from Meftah! “Omar Meftah, widely recognized as ‘Meftah’, is a Detroit-based producer, DJ, and visionary behind Musha Publishing. With a foundation rooted in multi-instrumentalism and beatmaking, Meftah’s musical oeuvre transcends genres, encapsulating what he terms as the ‘Sounds of the Diaspora’. In 2020, he released his debut EP, ‘Information Travels Through’ (AOM001), marking the inception of his Musha Publishing imprint, and carving out a distinctive sonic identity within Detroit’s illustrious music landscape. 
 In addition to his solo endeavors, Meftah boasts and impressive repertoire of collaborative works, including co-production credits on Amp Fiddler’s ‘Keep Coming’ remixes under Moodymann’s Mahogani Music (MM-43, 2019), and instrumental contributions to Black Noi$e’s ‘OBLIVION’ album released on Earl Sweatshirt’s Tan Cressida Records (2020). life is infinitely unpredictable. the music and the records are the only way to make this a tangible and visceral experience.... that being said....represses of my first two @mushapublishing records are back in my possession and making their way out into the shops and onto the turntables. haven't seen AOM001 or AOM003 in the bins anywhere since their initial release.... so here we go. ALSO!!! Thomas Xu (@steadyflightcircle ) decided to repress 'Meeting Point', and it happened to be ready the same day I picked up mine from #ArcherRecordPressingPlant.... the universe is not messing around with us. So much love to Thomas and everything he has exposed me (and way too many others) to. You all know who you are..... find copies of these ones in the good and wholesome shops around Detroit and beyond, and thank you to everyone who has stuck around!!!! it never stops!!! ps...it's not about what life looks like...it's about how it feels to YOU!!!!
